So, the latest Sam & Max game came out today: Sam & Max 304: Beyond the Alley of the Dolls.

Fairly early on in it, there's a TF2 Level 1 BLU dispenser.

I did a quick write up about it and put it on the teamfortress.com wiki's Dispenser page, under Trivia.

In, "Night of the Raving Dead" was there any reference to TF2? I could have sworn they were referencing the Medic a couple of times, as you travel to Stuttgart, Germany and eventually find a bone saw. I think there are other things too, but my terrible memory will not allow me to remember.

- Fixed the server browser not saving filter settings properly

Team Fortress 2

- Fixed a speed exploit related to benchmarks

- Fixed Parasite hat not being posed correctly on class loadout panels

- Fixed a level change crash

So, hopefully Valve irons out whatever is wrong with Steam's servers by tomorrow.

I'm tired of having my character just freeze for 15 seconds while everyone else keeps moving around. I finally got fed up with it on ctf_doublecross (a map I really like) and quit.

Just to let you guys know, I won't be able to play TF2 for awhile. My trackball's left click stopped working so I have to either replace it or try playing with the track pad on this laptop.

as much as it may fix team stacking to a degree I'm going to vote no.

Not that my opinion matters that much either way I just felt like chiming in.

We practically force it anyway with the auto-balancing system; the spec-join is basically just a work-around. I'm in favor, since it wouldn't strongly change anything we're doing (as long as teams can be rebalanced if, say, half of one team QQs).

I'm not a fan of forcing autojoin. It creates its own complications if friends want to play together, whether they're good or not.

when you have a friend that doesnt play on a particular server that you play on very often but decided to join your game every once in a while its really stupid if the two of you cant play together

Not all friend dynamics are that way, and some are more timid about entering a server they are completely unfamiliar with and being forced on a team when he/she just wanted to play with a friend.

I think forcing autojoin would make the server less friendly to newer people with respect to that.

How the heck do you play a FPS with a trackball?

I assume he's talking about the sort of trackball where it's larger and you move it with your thumb rather than the kind with it on the bottom of the mouse. I've actually heard people say it's accurate, and a lot faster once you get used to it.
