delbuster
I'm browsing through the album on Youtube and this one... magical.
Mtlbro
An aptly titled mix as it was a respite in the album, a welcome one at that ) Piano's my favorite !!
Daimo Mac
I have been using OCRemix for years now and this is the first post I ever made. I love the Serious Monkey Business Album and think it's great, but this one song is what makes it stand out, elevating it from good to great. Great job on the song. Clank
I've been going to OCRemix for well over a year now and this song alone made me register. Plus, it's time for me to donate to this site as well for all the enjoyment it has given me. As far as this song goes, all I can say is "WOW!"...this song fills me with joy everytime I hear it. Can't wait to go out kayaking with this song!
genius11433
Amazing mix. A "rare respite" indeed. I was really stunned by the addition of Chopin's Waltz in A-flat major near the end. This is a wonderful acoustical masterpiece.
dr_amazing
I heard this for the first time randomly today on my way to work. It is probably the perfect "biking on a chilly November morning" song.
jett
Easily the best track in the entire album. Pure greatness.
OutSpoken
At Rozovian's request I've decided to start linking some of the writeups of OCR tracks I've been doing on my blog. Although this particular writeup isn't written by me personally, we feel that this track deserves some good attention. http://reoganworks.blogspot.com/2010/09/song-of-week-14.html
Bahamut
Easily one of the top few tracks from Serious Monkey Business for me. Patrick did a gorgeous job in giving a piratesque sound to Jib Jig that is lush and uplifting. It's pretty hard not to love what has been done here! diamondfalcon
Easily one of favorite remixes, and maybe even one of my top 10 favorite songs of all time. Whenever this song comes on shuffle, I just stop and soak it all in. I also love your other remix on the site, Revisiting the Ruins. I'd love to hear more from you! Kaxon
This is easily one of the top 10 songs on the entire site. (And I have listened to all of them). I hope we hear more from Patrick Burns sometime soon.
WesternZypher
Ah, all I need is a sea shanty and the sound of the waves to quell my sorrows. And this song!
Black_Doom
I'm not big fan of celtic/folk-inspired songs, but this song struck me with its cheerful, carefree vibe. It can easily be a theme of breezy sunny morning, haha And it can easily fit some cartoon as well. What a lovely mix!
TheLomaxx
I wondered for a long time why this song gives me such a strong nostalgic feeling although I never played DKC2. Now I figured it out: The beginning of this remix sounds close enough to the beginning of the C64-Version of the game Zorro to make my subconciousness go "awwwwwh good old times!". Here is a YT-link for reference: But I guess even without these memories I would agree that this is a excellent remix of a good song. Thank you for sharing it.
