MaelieJade Posted April 29, 2010 Posted April 29, 2010 Thought I'd start one of these things. Post photos of any artwork that you have made yourself or have collaborated on. Paintings, drawings, sculpture, metalworking, tapestries, murals, art photography - anything, as long as you worked on it. Okay? ...Go! Quote

JH Sounds Posted April 29, 2010 Posted April 29, 2010 This is part of a comic I drew back in high school. I had to deblurrify it in Photoshop cuz I shot it with a camera. Note to self: get a scanner. Quote
Darlos9D Posted April 29, 2010 Posted April 29, 2010 Reminds me of a mix of Futurama and Shlock Mercenary Quote
Salluz Posted April 29, 2010 Posted April 29, 2010 Note to self: get a scanner. Next time a supermarket franchise closes down, run to the nearest one and get a 3-in-1! That's what I did! Lexmark X2600 series model (X2690), printer, copier and scanner for $60! Quote
Gollgagh Posted April 29, 2010 Posted April 29, 2010 for that matter, does anyone sell standalone scanners any more I hate compound machines like that because it adds needless complexity and therefore ways to break Quote
Gollgagh Posted April 29, 2010 Posted April 29, 2010 I'll have to look I'd like a scanner that lasts more than three months Quote

The Damned Posted April 30, 2010 Posted April 30, 2010 Well, it's using an existing material to form shapes for the expressions of ideas and feelings, so... http://www.mocpages.com/home.php/8570 It's mostly just experiments with various techniques and trying out color schemes. Also, FUCKI YEAH LASER BEAMS!! Quote
JH Sounds Posted April 30, 2010 Posted April 30, 2010 ["Lithium" pic] Just looking at this drawing made the song get stuck in my head again. Quote

Jam Stunna Posted April 30, 2010 Posted April 30, 2010 Man, if only I had a scanner, I would post all of the black Super Saiyans I drew in high school. Quote
Mirby Posted April 30, 2010 Posted April 30, 2010 Nice! Cool pics! Click for full-size! Hey, it's art! Quote
entropicdecay Posted April 30, 2010 Posted April 30, 2010 Maelie, I LOOOOOOOOVE long exposures, especially at amusement parks. I happen to love Tsunami, too. [digital pictures with minimal processing - assignment was to fabricate a scene. I chose to get all conceptual in dealing with leaving a controlling relationship I'd been in for 3 years.] [darkroom print - assignment to choose light as the subject. The quote reads "in the real dark night of the soul it is always 3 o'clock, day after day.] [digital picture with processing, mostly desaturation and contrast-fiddling - assignment was to avoid focus on the center. I miss my neon pink hair D: ] Quote
Beatdrop Posted April 30, 2010 Posted April 30, 2010 Wah-hah! I love art threads! Here's some of my crap: This was a project for a Fundamentals of 2D Design class I took. This particular project was to demonstrate motion with juxtaposition. I got an A. Here's a bunch of forum signatures I've made for myself throughout time. No stock imagery used here (except for the dancing bear fursuit from the video for Jurassic 5's "We Know Something"). Quote
Beatdrop Posted April 30, 2010 Posted April 30, 2010 And now for some photography: http://www.supernovatomic.com/images/Know-The-Way.jpg (Linked because it's HUGE) Quote
