NeoForte
It Lives!!!! http://www.nintendo.co.jp/ir/library/events/110128/07.html 2nd trailer.
Mirby
1st trailer is a new Rhythm Tengoku, if anyone's interested. But the powers in the trailer seem to be Sword Kirby, Fire Kirby, Cannon Kirby (NEW?!?), Cowboy Kirby (NEW?!? aside from mingame in SSU), and Ice Kirby. Benjamin Briggs
holy shit I am excite it appears that nintendo learned a valuable lesson from metroid other m and have decided to let retro studios handle all of the extremely fucking important franchise remakes I mean just look at it tell me that's not retro studios all over edit: PLEASE DISREGARD THIS POST AND RESPECT ME LESS AS A PERSON
BardicKnowledge
Looks like a spiritual sequel to Kirby 64 from the trailer -- which I can get behind for sure. I'd rather see a game more akin to KSS though
Overflow
wait, Chthonic, do you seriously think Retro is making it? Why would it debut in Japanese, then? It's got in-game japanese. And besides, Kirby is HAL Lab.'s special baby.
Mirby
HAL's handling it. Source where I learned it Also, GIF!
XZero
As much as I enjoyed Epic Yarn, it had a lot of the same problems Yoshi's Story suffered from back in early 1998, mainly being too short and too easy. This reminds me a lot more of Kirby's Adventure, which is definitely a good thing.
Benjamin Briggs
OH WELL THEN SMACK ME UP AND CALL ME AN IDIOT I had no idea retro was american based or whatever you are implying they are obviously taking some cues from dkcr though
Mirby
OH WELL THEN SMACK ME UP AND CALL ME AN IDIOT *complies* Also, Retro's based in Texas. I think...

Devyn
Well, regardless of all the development hoopla, it looks awesome and fun to play. I like the part where he inhales ten or so bad guys at once and shoots a star into the spider. And Indiana Jones / cowboy Kirby. And the big dragon fire thing. MAAAN. You got me all excited for nothing. Retro is like, my favorite dev. Totally less respected. (but honestly hal vs. retro on kirby, i'd probably root for hal) Excited for this game. Still haven't played kirbys epic yarn because i'm a gigantic loser i mean broke I really hope this stays true to super star more than it does 64. I can't really tell from the trailer. :/
EC2151
Retro can pretty much do anything and I'd be happy at this stage. But I've been waiting for a Kirby game like this FOREVER*. Kirby's pretty important to my game life, as the first Dreamland is one of THE first games I ever played. *Since Crystal Shards
NeoForte
People...>Retro isn't making this. This is HAL's game. This is basically the old GC game everyone thought was canceled. That's why I put "It Lives!!!" on my topic

The Damned
I like the big power-up attacks. I just hope it's a special move you have to work for, not just spam whenever you want. Otherwise, it will quickly become boring. Also, I have to see what the UFO power does. I LOVE THE UFO POWER.
Overflow
Maybe once you use the big power-up attack you lose the ability. That would work.
Mirby
The abilities so far. カービィ (Kirby): Normal Kirby that can gain new abilities by eating enemies. ウィップ (Whip): The cowboy ability. ソード (Sword): Link~ >u< リーフ (Leaf): Grass thingy. ^^ ウォーター (Water): Surfing Pikachu Kirby. ;3 The fire dragon one, it could be just the ファイア (Fire) ability powered up. The same way you can summon a big sword with the Sword ability. ^^; from RPM/10char
