timaeus222
I didn't make this demo, but does this sound real to you? This was made with Strawberry Electric Guitar for Kontakt 4+. Orangeholic
Meteo Xavier
To me, it's not bad. It's certainly kinda thin sounding, but I'm sure that can be fixed in the real aspects of production.
Magellanic
It does sound very good. I don't think I would have coined it was a sampled lead if I had not known from the start. If the sample-pack is programmed well it should be easy enough to get realistic results but, like any sampled instrument, convincing the listener is sequencing it realistically. Definitely agree with Meteo production-wise. If this pack can be run through your own amp-sims and such, its a sure-buy for someone who doesn't play guitar. Saying that, though, even if the samples come amped I bet you can get great results.
Fishy
Wow. Not bad at all. One or two giveaways, and the fast runs are a little too clean but thats pretty damn solid. Your move Zircon.
Sixto
holy crap. these are samples? sound friggin great
Nabeel Ansari
I really hope Impact Soundworks doesn't make a lead guitar addition to Shreddage. Would nullify the purpose of me practicing guitar and throw to waste all the gear and software I spent money on to do so.

Meteo Xavier
Seems like a request like that might warrant a reason behind it.
dannthr
Greg at Orangetree is a really solid Kontakt Scripter--his samples are always very clean, which you can take as you will. I have his Pear Core Upright Bass library, very nice. If I was in the market for a new guitar library, I would think seriously about Strawberry. Meteo Xavier
Seriously for or seriously against? Your post isn't too clear on which way to favor.
dannthr
I like the looks of Strawberry, but there are several competitors worth considering as well: http://www.pettinhouse.com/html/products.html http://www.prominy.com/ http://www.ilyaefimov.com/

Nase
never bought anything from him, but before he went kontakt and commercial he was making the best soundfonts ever. he had this sweet little 20 mb sf2 called 'ultimate guitar kit'. it's been my goto fake guitar since 2005 or something if i weren't so sick of huge sample libraries, i'd probably buy from him. his stuff sounds great. WillRock
hahaha wow, put this with shreddage and I might as well throw my guitar away.
SnappleMan
The leads sound badly autotuned, but the rhythm sounds convincing.

AngelCityOutlaw
At this point, I think it's safe to assume that in the not too distant future, I'm going to go see a "band" play at a concert and the only thing that's going to be on stage is this and some flashing lights The future is a horrible, horrible place indeed.
