Kaden Posted April 24, 2007 Posted April 24, 2007 Either way, I know I am going to love this for quite sometime. the Aeris mix is probably the BEST non-orchestral or lovey dovey peice that I have ever heard. The aeris remix pieces on here are alright, but the one on this project sounded very good, can't wait to hear the full thing.
Thin Crust Posted April 24, 2007 Posted April 24, 2007 VotL... I lol'd yet a third time. ¿Que? In other words, Huh?
SnappleMan Posted April 24, 2007 Posted April 24, 2007 You're totally not a samurai, your title is a lie.
Thin Crust Posted April 24, 2007 Posted April 24, 2007 How do you know? I actually can wield a katana very well, and I think that I follow the life of discipline that the samurai were known for. But back on topic, Hey Reuben, hows it going? I have been looking through your site recently and I have to admit that I am very impressed with your work. Any ideas on how your going to do birth of god and boss theme? Will it be in any of the styles of your other works?
KyleJCrb Posted April 24, 2007 Posted April 24, 2007 www.zirconstudios.com/ff7/ Curse you, zircon! It is blank! This will not stand! Or something.
Dhsu Posted April 24, 2007 Posted April 24, 2007 How do you know? I actually can wield a katana very well, and I think that I follow the life of discipline that the samurai were known for. Do you have a daimyo? No? Then you're not a samurai.
The Joker Posted April 25, 2007 Posted April 25, 2007 Dangit, I gots to go head to head with Reuben Kee for Birth of a God. Eh, maybe it's because I feel really damn cocky right now, but I'm up fo it. You know, unless Reuben's a lock.
Reu Posted April 25, 2007 Posted April 25, 2007 ThinCrust: Heya! Both tracks have their arrangement more or less complete already... Boss theme is in james bond style with Sixto helping on the guitar, birth of a god is done in epic choral/orchestra/drums style. The Joker: Well although my arrangement for birth of a god is done, I never was one to try and monopolize anything... so if Zircon agrees you could always do another version
Thin Crust Posted April 25, 2007 Posted April 25, 2007 So I'm guessing that you're submitting "Still more sexy fighting" that I saw in the wip board? I'm kind of disappointed that I alreasdy know the song already but also excited that I know the inside peek on one of the songs. Good luck.

What you heard origianlly, and what's being done to it now, are two very different things. Don't be disappointed till you actually hear it.
Steffan Andrews Posted April 25, 2007 Posted April 25, 2007 Don't be disappointed till you actually hear it. Yeah, then you can be really disappointed
Fishy Posted April 25, 2007 Posted April 25, 2007 Yeah, then you can be really disappointed Oh no he didn't! PS: Guitar parts plz?
Steffan Andrews Posted April 25, 2007 Posted April 25, 2007 Guitar parts plz? Working on it. I'm trying to have an arrangement done today so everyone can record their parts.

I'll just sit back and be a non-contributor, which is probably better since I'll end up having no time anyway.
Thin Crust Posted April 25, 2007 Posted April 25, 2007 What you heard origianlly, and what's being done to it now, are two very different things. Don't be disappointed till you actually hear it. Actually, I think I have heard the final version. I won't say where in order to keep it a secret, and if you do know where to find it, don't tell. It's good to keep these things under wraps.
zircon Posted April 26, 2007 Author Posted April 26, 2007 Actually, I think I have heard the final version. I won't say where in order to keep it a secret, and if you do know where to find it, don't tell. It's good to keep these things under wraps. I find that... unlikely, given that it's not done done yet and thus does not have a final version.
Thin Crust Posted April 26, 2007 Posted April 26, 2007 Thin Crust, do you know everything? I like to think so. I can give an answer to absolutely everything, but it doesn't mean I'm right.
Steffan Andrews Posted April 26, 2007 Posted April 26, 2007 One Winged Angel has a locked arrangement now. Waiting for parts to be recorded. There is hope for all
The Joker Posted April 26, 2007 Posted April 26, 2007 Well although my arrangement for birth of a god is done, I never was one to try and monopolize anything... so if Zircon agrees you could always do another version So, zirc, should I still do the mix for the project? I'm gonna finish it regardless, but I'll go at my own pace if it is no longer eligible for project inclusion; where as, if it still has a chance, I'll work on it at a faster clip.
zircon Posted April 26, 2007 Author Posted April 26, 2007 ATM it's kind of, whoever shows me the most promising wip right now...
