Strike911 Posted July 5, 2007 Posted July 5, 2007 He releases a star fox adventure sequel. Hahahahahaha. Man. That'd be hilarious if Nintendo took a shot at Rare like that. haha.
ILLiterate Posted July 5, 2007 Posted July 5, 2007 I'm sorry but... Your kidding right? That's sarcasm, right?Yeah, it's sarcasm
Rambo Posted July 5, 2007 Posted July 5, 2007 I pity da foo that has nothing but a wii-mote. Those controls would piss me off.
KWarp Posted July 5, 2007 Posted July 5, 2007 I hope Sakurai details Kirby's final smash soon. At the moment it looks rather lame.
FuriousFure Posted July 5, 2007 Posted July 5, 2007 Fox probably calls all of his partners to blow the crap out of you. if by "you", you mean EVERYONE... classic will probably be my choice, but who knows?
Rambo Posted July 5, 2007 Posted July 5, 2007 I hope Sakurai details Kirby's final smash soon. At the moment it looks rather lame. What!? Why you hate'n on the cooking pot!? What would you prefer? Giga-bowser kirby? .... wait a sec....
Strike911 Posted July 5, 2007 Posted July 5, 2007 Lame update... I mean, its kinda nice to see control schemes, but .... meh.
Dhsu Posted July 5, 2007 Posted July 5, 2007 Hm, interesting way to compensate for the lack of buttons on the Wiimote...use MORE of them. Though I think the more important revelation here is that analog control is not absolutely needed to play a Smash game. Smash Bros. DS anyone?
KakTheInfected Posted July 5, 2007 Posted July 5, 2007 Only downside of a DS game would be how horrible it would look (and difficult to see) on large stages when the camera zooms out. ...yes I know, just use small stages, but where's the fun in that?
Dhsu Posted July 5, 2007 Posted July 5, 2007 That's been a problem in all the Smash games I think...and often the characters are actually obscured by the damage counters. Hope they fix that with at least some sort of transparency effect in future games.

atmuh Posted July 5, 2007 Posted July 5, 2007 What would I prefer... id actually prefer the mike attack number 3 from super star
Strike911 Posted July 5, 2007 Posted July 5, 2007 What would I prefer... hahahaha. Well, while that is pretty hilarious, I gotta admit... I think the Kirby final smash will be really interesting and fun to watch and not so bad once we get our grimey little paws ahold of Smash Bros Brawl.
L.T.W. Posted July 5, 2007 Posted July 5, 2007 ......any ideas what Pit, Fox, Wario, Yoshi, Zelda, or Metaknight might do? I'm looking at you, Vidilian! Yoshi should totally throw bouncy eggs everywhere, like in Yoshi's Island. Would be great fun both to shoot and to dodge =) Im thinking that Zelda will shoot the light arrows at everyone; and Warrio will have his Nuclear like fart.
Effector Posted July 5, 2007 Posted July 5, 2007 id actually prefer the mike attack number 3 from super star Wow, I actually agree with atma for once. Im thinking that Zelda will shoot the light arrows at everyone; and Warrio will have his Nuclear like fart. I hope not - Wario has so many awesome things to pull from I'd find it kind of dull for two of this attacks to be wasted on farting.
Ray Falling Posted July 5, 2007 Posted July 5, 2007 Yoshi should summon the Yoshi-stampede we saw in Melee's intro/Paper Mario 2 x_x Death by too many Yoshi x_x

BardicKnowledge Posted July 5, 2007 Posted July 5, 2007 Smash DS would be a great idea, and it'd work fine -- Jump Ultimate, anyone?
FuriousFure Posted July 5, 2007 Posted July 5, 2007 Smash DS would be a great idea, and it'd work fine -- Jump Ultimate, anyone? Smash DS would be awesome! as for the capabilities of the nintendo DS, use 2d sprites (somewhat like Mario & Luigi: PiT) on a multileveled background. so it look a bit different but it would way sweet and it would use the solowiimote controls but would actually have 4 buttons so you could jump. and maybe kirby will use a randomly chosen final smash. one could be Mike, the other UFO, another could be Wheel... there are a LOT of possibilies. i'm hoping for a varied final smash. it'll keep you on your toes!
Sir_NutS Posted July 5, 2007 Posted July 5, 2007 It's clear that kirby, from the e3 trailer, will have the "cook" as his final smash. How this would work? well I think that after he pulls the smash and the cooking bowl appears, it starts pulling the characters that are close to it, sort of like a vortex, and if they do fall in, kirby leeches health from them (as opposed to turning them into food) Also I think that if the e3 trailer was any indication, wario's final smash will be a massive fat of nuclear proportions, which I would be fine with I wonder what pit final smash will be. Most likely he'll summon an army of centurions, just like in the game. Needless to say, that would be awesome =D. If someone remember my rants (from where I used to troll this kind of threads a lot, in search of massive lulz) I've been eagerly waiting to see pit reborn in a new game, and it might be one of the main reasons I'll be getting his game, so I really hope his character doesn't sucks XD
The Author Posted July 5, 2007 Posted July 5, 2007 Pit may transform in a warrior wearing all the items of Palutea.
Sir_NutS Posted July 5, 2007 Posted July 5, 2007 Pit may transform in a warrior wearing all the items of Palutea. With unlimited flight? I'd take that.
Vidilian Posted July 5, 2007 Posted July 5, 2007 Sorry guys, I've recieved a personal email from Sakurai himself telling me not to make any more predictions. Ruins the surprise. I will say this about final smashes though. The Pit idea above is probably right, Wario's will probably be Warioware based and Zelda may use some powerful magic spell. That is all.
