ajpatri
Jeremy Robson is probably already riddled all over the playlist, and I'll definitely check out Nutritious. Thanks for the recommendations!

Sole Signal
May be a little too epic, but see whatcha think: http://ocremix.org/remix/OCR01706/
Flare4War
There is no such thing as too epic.
Hyperion5182
Depends on the reception in question: Is it large? If so i recommend Super Buck Jazz, Several from chrono symphonic: Blue Skys over guardia would be an AWESOME entrance. Or The New Beginning. One of the latest ones i'd recommend is The Rose General by Katethegreat19 Valse Aeris (VOTL) Jeremy Robson Golden Ivories of Gaia (VOTL) Bladiator
ajpatri
The reception will be a decent size, probably about 50 people. Of that 50 probably only a handful will be able to recognize the music. So the lighter fare of piano or slightly jazzy selections will definitely fit the bill. Your recommendations are spot on, thanks =) And thanks for the epic choice Sole Signal, I'll be sure it makes it on the playlist. Keep em' coming, this is going to turn out great. My day combing through remixes is being well spent.
Subz1987
http://ocremix.org/remix/OCR01537/ - This one is an appropriate track for that day.
XiaoXiaoNeo
Ok, I had a great big list, but the page refreshed and erased it all. So here it is from memory... First track I thought of was Wingless's Guardian Legend remix. I always pictured people waltzing to this. http://ocremix.org/remix/OCR01459/ Here's some peaceful acoustic guitar tracks. Geoffrey Taucer's most recent track for the Xenogears project was awesome. http://ocremix.org/remix/OCR01919/ Here's some Pot Hocket. Good stuff! http://ocremix.org/remix/OCR01882/ http://ocremix.org/remix/OCR01634/ http://ocremix.org/remix/OCR01518/ There's also another Pot Hocket track off the FF7 project called "Sleep my Sephy" Find it here. http://ff7.ocremix.org/tracks/ Disc 4- Track 1 Ok, Jazzy time. This should be perfect. Runaway 5 do not disappoint. http://ocremix.org/remix/OCR01847/ For more upbeat Jazz, try LSD. http://ocremix.org/artist/4805/lsd Downtempo jazz more your style? Check out Neskvartetten. http://ocremix.org/artist/4548/neskvartetten The Thieves of Fate project has a track called Cold as Hell, which I think you'll enjoy. It was a bonus track, so it's on the bottom of the page. http://rd.ocremix.org/download.html And of course, you've got to get in some DCK Aquatic Ambiance. I feel Vigilante's track will best suit the mood. http://ocremix.org/remix/OCR01242/ I hope everything goes well. If you can, please post a set list with your choices. I'm curious to see what's on the list! EDIT: Knew I'd forget something. Why has no one mentioned Vampire Hunter Dan yet? Lol, he's got some great stuff. Some of it can have some mood swings though, so be sure to give a potential track a through listen. I'd recommend... http://ocremix.org/remix/OCR01501/

astralmind
Hi guys, I've searched online the best I could but couldn't find any real help regarding song suggestions for a wedding march (down the aisle), VG related. Anything orchestral/smooth that has at least a segment that could be used would be great. I'm getting married soon and was hoping to incorporate VG music subtly as part of the wedding (there won't be much music playing for the rest of the evening as we are getting married down south in Mexico). Any suggestions ? Thanks
Mustin
This kinda works: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XCneT59SENU But this is better, though it's actually a funeral... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_OGbU-YB4bI Though I love this one so much: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3LYwSN7y7fY

dannthr
Nice, here are some good alternative "non-game" selections for the Processional:
The Eva Monkey
So basically I'm getting married soon, and I'm looking for some game music to be played at our ceremony and during our cocktail hour. I'm looking primarily for stuff from the 8 and 16 bit era, NES, SNES, Game Boy, Genesis, etc. So far, I've selected the final ending theme from StarTropics as the main processional theme: And for the end of the ceremony for when we walk out, the ending theme from Super Mario Land: My fiancee was thinking about something Zelda for her procession, and there might also need to be something for before the procession starts. Other than that, I'm just looking for a bunch of old game music with a happy, nostalgic, possibly romantic quality for the reception. Ending themes in particular have the right general sound. Any recommendations would be appreciated.
ocre
For some reason, Matoya's Cave from FF1 springs to mind. It has a nice sound.
Meteo Xavier
The Final Fantasy IV Prologue! Seriously, I defy any man to find something even close to as appropriate - the only other one that comes close to me is "To Good Friends" from Chrono Trigger. SwordBreaker
With all due respect, screw the 8 and 16 bit eras. Use these. You'll thank me later.
Zerothemaster
The only song that springs to my mind is The Moon Theme from Duck Tales.
The Eva Monkey
For some reason, Matoya's Cave from FF1 springs to mind. It has a nice sound. Good suggestion. FF is one of the ones that we're looking at a bit. My fiancee was thinking about using Terra for something, but we decided it sounded a little too melancholy. The Final Fantasy IV Prologue!Seriously, I defy any man to find something even close to as appropriate - the only other one that comes close to me is "To Good Friends" from Chrono Trigger. I agree, to a point. It does have a very church-like quality to it, but we're trying to avoid that. We're not having it in a church, and we're not having it religiously affiliated. With all due respect, screw the 8 and 16 bit eras. Use these. You'll thank me later. Well that's what we're looking for, a degree of nostalgia. I've never heard of this, and I really couldn't see this being used in any fashion. It doesn't have to be exclusively 8 or 16 bit, Final Fantasy VII and VIII are on my list of things to scour over. FFVIII in particular has a couple things I'm considering, like "Where I Belong" and "Roses And Wine". The only song that springs to my mind is The Moon Theme from Duck Tales. Yeah, absolutely, it's already on my list. The Moon just screams everything that was happy and wonderful about old-school game music. BaconProcurement
I have only two suggestions and they are both from Mega Man. http://ocremix.org/remix/OCR01025/ (If you haven't really found it on this site yet.) The other is without a doubt a perfectly suited song, the epilogue song for Mega Man 4. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oLpSDQGNY3k
PixelPanic
is a really good tune, a tiny bit somber, but very soft and emotional.
Malaki-LEGEND.sys
There was another thread on this where I recommended the Ending Theme and Staff Roll from The Legend of Zelda A Link To The Past. I still vehemently recommend them both. In fact, with the proper syncing, you could have the former played throughout the wedding's entirety, followed by the latter towards the end when everyone is heading for the reception. Zerothemaster
is a really good tune, a tiny bit somber, but very soft and emotional. I've never heard it called "Whistle Concert". I always knew it as "ENDING", at least that's what the soundtrack said

I completely forgot about Wily's Wedding, I think I can definitely use that for the reception. For the Mega Man 4 epilogue, I'll need to check out the original version of the track. I'm curious what it originally sounded like. is a really good tune, a tiny bit somber, but very soft and emotional. That's perfect. Totally usable. There was another thread on this where I recommended the Ending Theme and Staff Roll from The Legend of Zelda A Link To The Past.I still vehemently recommend them both. In fact, with the proper syncing, you could have the former played throughout the wedding's entirety, followed by the latter towards the end when everyone is heading for the reception. Fiancee has already identified this as a potential. She also wanted to use Dark World. ? I was posting it because it's an extremely triumphant composition. I don't know where you're getting the churchly/religious affiliation from. It might be the version I listened to: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JTlT8zGQwwU But when I listen to it, it gives me this vibe like it's set in a cathedral, during a wedding or coronation or something like that. It's a good song, but it doesn't quite have the happy/nostalgic/romantic quality I'm searching for.
