OverCoat Posted December 23, 2007 Posted December 23, 2007 Click the cover art to download! Yes it was supposed to be for ALS4 and released Jan. 1st, but much like Skrypnyk I couldn't wait, since it's been done for a while now and I was getting antsy. Also Ubik still hasn't provided FTP upload info which worries me. So here you go! 6 kindofbrandnew cyberpunk-twisted tracks. At first I tried to make the music sound like Blade Runner or Deus Ex but I failed hard at that, so I made my own musical take on the cyberpunk style. There's a little bit of industrial, a little bit of breaks, doused in ambient and then downsampled to hell, as usual. Enjoy! Quote
Sinewav Posted December 23, 2007 Posted December 23, 2007 Sweet. I'm a huge fan of anything and everything cyberpunk. Downloading now. Awesome cover art, by the way. EDIT: Spoon! Haha. Quote

FiremanJoe Posted December 25, 2007 Posted December 25, 2007 Oh man, more music?! Awesome. How do you manage to write stuff like this? You're a music-making /machine/, OC! I haven't had any inspiration for music in about 2 months. Quote

OverCoat Posted December 25, 2007 Author Posted December 25, 2007 Nice stuff, I like it. Haven't heard much from this little genre before. Well, nobody who makes this kind of stuff really associates it with Cyberpunk. The only example I can think of is Billy Idol's "Cyberpunk" album. Quote
OverCoat Posted December 27, 2007 Author Posted December 27, 2007 I guess nobody wants that augmentation I used it already now I have night vision. cool! Quote
Sinewav Posted December 28, 2007 Posted December 28, 2007 Well, nobody who makes this kind of stuff really associates it with Cyberpunk. The only example I can think of is Billy Idol's "Cyberpunk" album. And a lot of people refuse to accept that as cyberpunk. Anyhoo, I think this thread got lost in the Christmas Rush. An OverCoat album thread deserves more than 2 pages. Bump, out of the kindness of my heart. Quote
