  2. Results Silverpool won by default HoboKa submitted a BONUS Silverpool please PM me the source pick for round *115. Comments Well, Silverpool sub'd in a well polished MIDI rip/cover. Wouldn't mind a teensy touch of notational reinterpretation, but beggars can't be choosers. Man I'm enabling a bad habit here Midi Rip Gang ftw? Rofl. Anyways I appreciate the participation nonetheless. Please submit me your source pick dood. And hopefully my entry was entertaining to the lurkers of the forum boards...

  4. It's less to do with self-esteem and more to do with limitations. Tracks with busy soundscapes are taxing to arrange cause I have near constant tinnitus. And since I need to listen to a song many times just to reconstruct the stereo image in my mind (can only hear in mono), things quickly get overwhelming and time consuming. I do love using voice/sfx in remixes tho.

  6. Hey everyone! Here is a newly uploaded video of another arrangement I've made - A Secret of Mana Fantasia for full Orchestra taken from the Secret of Mana/Seiken Densetsu Soundtrack by Hiroki Kikuta. Secret of Mana was originally made for the SNES but has since enjoyed a remake. The music in this Fantasia include "Fear of the Heavens", "Into the thick of things", "a Wish", and "Fly into the Unknown". The pieces linked very well together in order to contrast the many atmospheres and emotions the game has in the course of the adventures it holds. Disclaimer: Original music is by Hiroki Kikuta, visuals are screenshots of in-game footage and artwork.

  8. Yeah, another game remix! This time a older childhood fav game "Fury3" that was released by Microsoft in 1995. The soundtrack is really awesome. Enjoy the first mission, planet terran in a new version:)

  9. Oh, the memories this brings back. I was barely cognizant when I first played Fury 3, but this... brings it all back. I couldn't remember it before I listened to your piece, but it's all so familiar now. Wish I could have appreciated this song back then, but this is even better. Thrumming, pulsing atmospheric beats and synths that pushes you to the edge of your cockpit seat. Real nice work here, thanks for revitalizing these memories!

  10. 0:00-0:05 Ah, more Aquatic Ambiance. This should- (the F# at 0:06 plays)... oh, my, this going to be good. And it is. The subtle dark twist to this classic is exquisite. I did note that your melody lead (first introduced at 1:17) seems to crowd the other frequencies when it hits the lower notes, shouldn't be too hard to fix. Well done with this one, and here's hoping to a resolution to this mass-views situation.

  11. Sure you aren't being a bit hard on yourself? I think your sound is pretty decent. I especially like your SH3 and Metal Gear Solid remixes. Reminds me I need to go through more of your soundcloud, some really good stuff. I guess Hardcore isn't quite your thing, as I see a lot of chillstep and organic stuff, but I think you can pull it off. New sexperiences! BTW, you have played with vocal samples a lot so (pardon edits)
