I never had a problem with GamePro, that was the first magazine I ever thoroughly enjoyed. Maybe I'll look back into that.

I'm going to use the same argument I used to defend Indiana Jones and The Kingdom of the Crystal Skull - if you wanted to see Raiders of the Lost Ark, why didn't you just watch Raiders of the Lost Ark? Same basic principle applies here. Even if Sega didn't push and punish their employees, the games would still likely not be of the classic quality we want them to have. If you want the gaming quality and experience and overall greatness of Sonic 1 or 2 or 3, you're better off just playing 1, 2, or 3. Saves you time and money in the long run. I'm not saying the Sonic of today are any good, I haven't played a Sonic game in years, I'm just saying this would've happened naturally sooner or later anyway.

I feel like plugging the internet marketing group I work for, as we're very personal, within that budget and client-friendly, but we're still experimenting with blogs ourselves and it would probably just be a waste of money with all things considered.

I second the deadline options with the addendum that you make them realistic. I'm a poster boy for what can happen if you don't make realistic deadlines for your first projects. Dannthr knows exactly what I'm talking about. Start small and easy and work your way up.

Well, my problem with those sites are the links and the fact that they often expire. I want to offer fast, easy, and simple. I used to have a soundfont page for that but its been so long since I started it I don't remember what it was. I just want a simple little page that has the file and lets others download it.

I want to use something free and easy to use to post my soundfont collection for the benefit of others. I tried Google Pages, but they have a cap at 10MB per upload and most of my soundfonts are much more than that. Any recommendations?
