  1. You need to drop the valium, Damned. You are far too unenthusiastic in the context of this great event in history. Now where's my fucking Castlevania Collection!?
  2. That's not any better a title. I would've preferred to call the game "Chainsaw Lollipop" as it rolls better that way.
  3. He's going to learn the hard way, like I did, how the whole bizarro genre thing is dying out.
  4. Hit up Brad Burr, formerly "prophetik" and now "prophetik music" I think.
  5. Be sure to do it in AIM. That's still the best way I seem to communicate with you.
  6. Don't burn yourself out on projects or you won't get many or any of them finished.
  7. That's what I meant too. I've never heard of it, but I'll be looking for it too because that sounds pretty badass - not to mention the possibilities of others posting theirs. Edit: This looks like a start at least: http://win984u.webs.com/synthsfordownload.htm
  8. I've never heard of that program. You mean it takes the .mid samples in your computer already and makes a soundfont out of it?
  9. I still have yet to experience anything in PLAY that earns this kind of ire. It's not wonderful by any means, but I don't personally get the criticism on it myself.
  10. Apart from a synth lead sticking out a bit too much, I'm not sure what was ever wrong with it. Also, since I'm writing, I recently came into remembering a long time ago I forged a semi-connection with a band called "Playground Etiquette" and I nearly did some work for them some years ago. I may consider contacting them and see if their interested in joining the project.
  11. For those wondering, George Alistair Sanger is still kicking ass. He posted a new live set he did on Soundcloud some weeks ago (not his game music though). I asked why I should be listening to this for free when I could be tipping money - he asked instead to share the set/group around, so that's what I'm doing. Worth listening to for fans of the Fat, if for no other reason than, well, how many other video game celebs you know play live blues rock sets? Check it. http://soundcloud.com/the-fat-man/sets/too-many-guitars-best-of/.
  12. I wouldn't say "next to nothing", but yeah, you get a good deal out of prophet there. I'm using one of his computers now, same as I have been for 3 years now and its still quite strong.
  13. Well, like I said, I'd be interested to try a few of them if we could get a more specified and clearer idea kinda how you want them. I'm still a little confused on it (but less so than before). Also, is this a free gig or paid? Either's fine, but for free gigs, the proper thing to do, if you're giving artists the option of creating original work for it, is to give them considerable freedom to create what they feel is best for the project. "Close as possible" is a good and fair standard, but I hope you're exercising openmindedness alongside it so that work can get done. I've done work for a lot of supervisors for free and many of them act like you're blessed to be able to volunteer your time and skills to them - it makes working for them horrible. And that's what I have to say on that. I sent you a PM btw. Please let us know on this and what we could contribute, it sounds kinda fun.
  14. Well, I myself would find it much easier to just compose a brand new one as opposed to transcribe, if you're giving us that option.
  15. So are you wanting us to transcribe the recorded music to MIDI?
  16. Yep, this is about the time we cue for 8 pages of "SQEENIX SUCKS NOW!" and call it a discussion.
  17. That's actually one of the more interesting new Final Fantasy concepts I've heard in years. I may look into it despite not owning any systems that could handle it.
  18. That produces the imagination of Elvis singing TROLOLOLOLO.
  19. Google "papelmedia_churchorgan.sf2" and see if you come up with anything. If not, I'll see if I can find a way for you to get it.
  20. I'm skipping out on Wii U. I have a lot of systems and games already and my money is better used saving for my child-rearing days instead of paying $300+ for a new system, then $60+ a pop for new games I'll play for 2 months then forget about entirely as the next Diablo III-sized release gets hyped up and released.
  21. These might have potential: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/GD_Leen http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cyber_Knight http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dragon_Slayer:_The_Legend_of_Heroes http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Villgust http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Aretha_%28video_game%29 http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Slayers_%28video_game%29 Anyone tried any of these?
  22. Ok, so I was able to deliver the guitar track to Usa for FAITH TOTAL MACHINE and I think he can use it and finish the track. Additionally, the song may come with a synth solo at the end. I'm well aware of the project's positions on synth electronica, but as he was/is an instrumental part of the project with the track itself having been quite difficult, it's not worth tossing off the project for a little synth solo at the end. We can let it slide (pun maliciously intended).
  23. It'd be easier if I gave you the notes instead of the chord names: 1st chord (from low to high): G#, F#, B, D# 2nd chord (from low to high): A#, G#, C#, F# 3rd chord (from low to high): E# (use left hand and go down) F#, A#, C#, F
