  1. Meh I'm not interested in this RPG. I'm done with the traditional JRPG especially in this day and age. They need to ditch the tired old conventions which were only implimented due to technological constraints and develop some new gameplay. Oh and a good story would be nice as well.
  2. Alien Vs. Predator Requiem. Seriously that movie is going to rock!
  3. Yeah that's the place. Eh the area is nothing I haven't dealt with before and they have a fantastic selectioin of games so it's worth it.
  4. There's a great place in LA called Game Dude. Fantastic brick and mortar store that is huge and carries virtually every console released in the states as well as some import games. They sell games that if they're loose, then they don't have any markings, and if they have packaging they're original. Last time I was there, a few months ago, they had a copy of Shining Force III.
  5. So this is basically a game in promption of the JJ Abrahams movie right? Interesting stuff here.
  6. Voted. So did you guys win the spot to open up for Godsmack?
  7. Whenever I think of live music, I think of a band performing in a venue of some sort.
  8. Why would they need a new ESRB? Or is that because the KA rating is defunct? I'm sure Earthbound would only get an E. Though it would be nice if Nintendo retranslated the game with the alcoholic references and other 'adult' material intact.
  9. That is some great news. I hope that Earthbound Zero gets an official translation release here either for just the VC or even with the DS and I hope this gets enough support for Mother 3 as well. If I had a Wii, I'd download it when it becomes available.
  10. Well the new buttons have the same exact functionality as the old buttons, otherwise it would be pointless to make the GH controller compatible. The new buttons are just to look cooler and for the solos I read that they'll emphasis the hammer ons and pull offs more.
  11. Un17 is Slayer - Raining Blood just slowed down. A complete rip off there. Un18 is Silent Scream. Un48 is Behind the Crooked Cross. Un52 is South of Heaven. All by Slayer. Some of them sounded original, but that's probably because I don't know the originals and some of the riffs were pretty awesome if indeed original.
  12. I don't think Bobby Prince knows how to write an original song at all. I'll download these when I'm at home.
  13. Do you know if there will be an official Contra IV soundtrack release? That would be absolutely awesome and that's great that you got to do the soundtrack.
  14. I need to check out more Porcupine Tree. I only have In Absentia which is a fantastic.
  15. You're right. Pop music isn't simple, it's damn hard to create a single that will sell millions and generate millions. I still don't like most of it. Metal > Pop
  16. Alot of those rules to anime can be applied to action movies as well.
  17. If it's good enough for Remo Williams then it's good enough for a Chun-Li led Street Fighter movie.
  18. I hope Jack Thompson doesn't call for a boycott, I love Wendy's frosties too much. Apparently Jack isn't much of a Burger King fan otherwise he would've sued them for promoting the murder simulator GTAIV since Burger King sold Xbox 360 games featuring the King.
  19. Youtube being worth about $1.65 billion, right?
  20. Synthesia seems more like an educational game rather than an arcade game. But yeah Japan did it all first yet Konami are being dicks by not giving those games proper release and support. Bastards.
  21. That is pretty awesome. Though I'm a bit fucked because I have a 61 MIDI keyboard not a full 88 so I have switch the octaves and that gets a bit confusing when trying to match up the keys with the HUD.
  22. What I really hated about St. Anger was how the media were just sucking Metallica's cock saying this is a return to the greatness of Master of Puppets and that this what it sounds like to be in a garage band. Bullshit. Master had some pretty damn good arrangements, memorable riffs and solos and great lyrics. St. Anger had watered down riffs which were no where near thrash and was made by a couple of over the hill guys who can't let go of the past even though they've obviously gone so far from it. Oh yeah and it's just a plain shitty record. Period.
  23. I honestly believe he just was not trying at all. He really could've taken his lead playing somewhere, but I guess he's stuck in a pentatonic wah ladden rut.
