I have to say, your theory is way too crackpotty to be close to what Nintendo had in mind. They need to make a Zelda game with a big-ass tome in it, where you get to read all about Hyrule's past and what scholars through the ages had to say about Ganon and Link(s) and Zelda(s), and all the events that have happened. And the only way to beat the game is to read the tome in order to find out HOW to beat the game... like a puzzling and entertaining walkthrough right in the game. It's a game about Link's struggle to understand who he is and what the heck is going on. If someone said you were the "hero of time" that keeps coming back century after century to defeat evil, and then all this wierd stuff starts happening that only confirms your mythical status, wouldn't you try to find out what's up?

Finally, I got around to starting (and finishing) my Creatures drawing from last month! If I would've tried to do it before the deadline, it probably would've turned out really bad =p Also I said I was gonna do two entries for this month, but I changed my mind; I'm only doing one of them (but I'll actually finish it this time).

I thought it would be pretty funny if a mod moved this thread out of Off Topic, but then it happened... and it wasn't funny =( If this thread would have been created in General Discussion, it would probably be moved to off-topic! Now any unregistered user can read my compromising statements about... certain things. But back on topic: the Kirby box art comparisons are pretty funny. Especially "Nightmare in Dreamland"

Just start the presentation with: "In a world, one man's throat felt a little dry. But now, his voice has transitioned into, I kid you not, the movie preview guy's voice." And then throw in some Duke Nukem quotes for good measure.

I guess they just assumed people would be watching the screen when that cutscene happened. And there's a LOT more wrong with the cutscene than just that. Then again, ALL the cutscenes in the game are probably that bad...

How did you find it??? When it walks (which is most of the time in the game) it looks like it's pushing a vacuum back and forth with its hand. Kind of hard to see in that gif...

You know those "Spike" guys in Super Mario Bros. 3 that are always vacuuming? Yep, that's right, they're vacuuming. Unfortunately the internet contains no screenshot or sprite of these guys (and the All-Stars version doesn't vacuum), even though there are sprite sheets with all the other SMB3 enemies in the game, and even the king that turned into a Spike, but none with the actual Spike enemy sprite. Does anyone remember the stage they were in, to maybe find a youtube video of it? And I didn't see the pencil until you mentioned it, but... Black pencils are black. It looks like a black pencil-crayon.

Well, sounds like you're asking for opinions, so here's mine: I liked the more relaxing ones the best, namely the "Escape Light" ones, and I also loved the orchestral ones and the piano ones. I also like trance so I liked Anatrance (and also Legacy). But I'm going to have to go Simon Cowell on you and say the singing usually held the music back. The one with the Russian accents was kind of funny though =p But that's just me. Make an album however you want!

Filled out the survey last night - I'm the guy who hates the Ctrl and Z keys, and thinks the weapon should charge automatically when you're not shooting (instead of having a separate button for that)... that is, unless there's a downside to charging whenever you're not shooting. Good luck! =D Kind of early for a survey though, no?

I haven't played the game yet (been meaning to for a long time), but a Shadow of the Collosus movie written by the guy who wrote the Chun Li movie sounds like a scary April Fools joke, because it's probably actually true The guy who wrote this article is excited about the movie... and IMO his suggestion and reasoning that Guillermo del Toro should direct it is a good one: http://popwatch.ew.com/popwatch/2009/04/shadow-of-the-c.html Is... is there some kind of petition somewhere to get this movie NOT made? Or to get no one but del Toro to direct it? With the economy as bad as it is, incredible wastes of money like this make me a little sick...

Hmm, do those ones really count? They're more like "villainous dopplegangers as villains". Drawing Wario or Waluigi as villians isn't in line with the theme either. Well, maybe the Zelda one counts... Some things I've thought of: You know how in videogames you're always running around killing animals or soldiers/guards and beating people up, going into strangers' houses and taking the gold coins and chain mail from their grandfather clocks? Run with that. Switching the hero's role with the villian's... say, Dedede is trying to save Dreamland from the gluttonous Kirby. What if Link or Samus one day decided to use their incredible powers for evil? What if Captain Falcon started roaming the city PAAWNCHing random people on the street?

For anyone looking for the song, I already checked OCRemoved and it's not there... the only Killer Instinct song there is the title/menu theme =/

Ok, so now I know what I'm doing for both my entries. They'll both be comical, but only one of them will be well-drawn. Should I submit them both as entries, or post the joke entry earlier? Luckily my exams end before the deadline, so I'll actually have time this month. I'll have to start last month's Creatures drawing eventually too. Zerglings!!!! =D
