No problem. Next year, we're going to do things differently. Waaaay differently. Think submitting for an official project style guildlines, and a due date a week out so I have more time to really pull it together. This 11th hour stuff really screws me up.

As you are probably aware, tonight is the night I leave for a party well... I leave in about an hour (it's 12:40 by my count). So... This is it. The final release. One thing I would like to say though is that each year, I learn something new about directing a project, even one as small as this. Everything we do together for AOCC is another step forward for me towards doing a bigger project, and maybe, just maybe next year will be that year. I was hopeful to do something this year, but circumstances didn't allow for it. No worries though, 2012 is going to be a red letter year!

It's Christmas, I guess the spirit just moves people. By the way, some, if not all, of the issues with the site should be fixed now.

If you have a track/working on a track/wanting to submit a track, you have until Friday to have it done. I will accept it up until midnight Friday. IF... however... You need more time, you can technically send them to me until 12 noon on Saturday. Beyond that, you're pretty much out of luck, as I need to have the album prepped and ready before I leave for the annual party that I go to every Christmas Eve. Yes, by the way, I'm extending the absolute end of the deadline until December 24 at 12 noon, but really, try to have them done by Friday night, I still need artwork from The Coop, and he needs time to get it done. P.S.: I uploaded the CSS file, and made sure the formatting was the same across all pages. So they should look much better now.

I bought Skyward Sword yesterday, and played for 9 and a half hours. I have had nothing but fun with this game. There are some things that I have trouble with like swinging from vine to vine, such as in that area inside of Skyview Temple, but otherwise, I'm enjoying the game, I love the flight mechanics, and it's just been a blast. By the way, what'd everyone think of the soundtrack that came with the game?

After nearly 11 years, this song is still among my favorites. In fact, I can't believe it's been 11 years. I'm glad Shael is still around writing music and performing.

It's that time of year, time for another round of An OverClocked Christmas! This year being year five, I was hoping to do something special, but I think we'll save that for next year since I need more time for that sort of thing. But for this year, we're going to stick with the theme from last year which was a wintery, Christmasy kind of album featuring both traditional songs and video game remixes as well as originals. So here's what you need to do if you want to join in: First: e-mail me at dyne2057@gmail.com Second: remix, rearrange or write a track for the album and send it via the email address! Finally: Wait for the release coming the week of Christmas! By the way, ALL TRACKS are due by 12/23 (previously 12/20). This will give me time to tag, prep the web site, and get everything uploaded, and for once, I should be able to release on Christmas Eve, long before I leave for my usual annual party. Therefore, 12/23 will be the ABSOLUTE LAST DAY that you can submit your track. That's it! If you have questions about the project, feel free to PM me or email me at the above address.

I hope you aren't discounting his knowledge because he's younger than most of us. He does bring up a fantastic point; programming and music really aren't the same thing, and are subject to different ways of being learned. Each person learns differently, that said, the way you learn music and the way I learn music are going to be exclusive. Yes, we're still using the same faculties, but in the end, I might learn it more slowly than you. Ya dig?
