24 here I've been playing the Wii on and off, but half the time I find myself going to the news channel. Mainly because I like being able to read the news without annoying commercials popping up nor having to fumble around with ink-bleeding newspaper; plus I like reading it on the big screen :3 I do also find myself playing Wiiware games more so than usual. FF:CC - MLAK is a change of pace from Persona 3 FES/FF12/FFTA. Toki Tori is rather enjoyable for a puzzle/plate-former game.

forget itunes and get foobar2k, simpler mp3 encoding imo...

I felt one of Okami's strongest aspects had been it's story and how if one allows him/herself to become immersed, the game becomes much more grander than it really is in a very good way. As I've played through the game the first time on the PS2, all the major and even some of the minor characters were likable/tolerant. I seriously can not think of one character I would hate in Okami, except for the motherfucking spiders that cockblock you during the shruken sequence; they're easy but still... Even the main monsters were enjoyable to me as they had their own quirks in how they tried to kill me. The boss fights were not terribly difficult with cheap tactics, but I can't say I ever felt bored when I fought them. There's something about using a huge fire blast engulfing the screen and see it take a nice chuck of health on a boss. From the first boss fight up to the last one felt satisfying; especially the last one since I wailed on it harder than any other before. The fight against the Twin Demons is incredible as well as against Ninetails (though that fight was rather comical at times for me) In the end it just boils down to perspective and whether one can immerse themselves into the game.

QFE by the power of 10... I love the series regardless of how many there are. Played every single one, from the classic first Castlevania up to C:PoR & The Rondo remix. One of the few things that help keep them fresh for me had been doing personal challenges. Try just using the dagger on CV1 throughout the entire game with mininal enemy kills with the whip. I do however would like those feelings of tension/horror and even some epic-ness be emphasized within future titles. As mentioned earlier, the idea of these monsters being able to make you shit in your pants as you try to either kill or run to safety are greatly needed. Only a few times that happened, in particularly in C:LoD, Frankie with his chainsaw chasing your ass throughout the hedgemaze with the god damn skullpillars, poisonous plants and Cerberus dogs slowing you down; along with knowing how fucking fast he can be if you're not careful. Bosses with no obvious weakpoints or immunity to particular weapons. Weapons that can shatter upon prolonged, heavy use or even the possibility with the enemy being able to break them or simply deflect/parry against them. Sure the whip would normally be the be all end all weapon (in particularly for a Belmont) but some monsters in the Castlevania world ought to have some strong resistance to it... In the end, this Castlevania will undoubtedly become another addition to my expansive collections.

Guiness World Records...Gamer's Edition

On the basis that it left out a major series... It definitely will not have a place in my extesive library >:[ It similar to the idea of me buying a car but with the axle part missing on the front and instead the builders just welded the two front tires for the lulz... forget it -
I've managed to find a bunch of his mixes, including the tracks used on the music videos. I've placed them in a sendspace link in a zip file under the name "Hyadain Tracks". The only thing that's missing is "World Warrior" http://www.sendspace.com/file/9q49cl

Could always move out of Quebec..? In any rate AoC looks interesting but for the sake of laziness as well as informing others, what are the system specs for it..?

I take it I'm the only one that liked Montezuma's Revenge aka Panama Joe..? Always played it when I had the chance back then,,,

Quite interested in it. Cartoony gore works just fine so long as the other elements of the title compliments it for the better.

Megadave ought to be able to tell ya more. But back on topic... somwhat... Ever notice the changes between the series Classic Megaman's rock tunes to Megaman X's 5 tracks to the Zero series Rock Opera-ish music..? Is this a sign of something pushing rock further into possibly metal for the Mega series...? I haven't heard/played the DS games so I don't know how their tracks sound like... in particularly to the Ragnarok Record Final Battle... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HYEODRw-WzE&feature=related

Always thought it had to do with the pun including Roll, "Rock and Roll", Protoman is Blues, Bass(Forte) and Treble(Gospel) is more obvious. There's a mid boss/boss character by the name of Punk as well. Heck Dr. Cossack's daughter "Kalinka" makes a reference to an old russian folk song. From Wikipedia~

Durable, high-capacity hard drive, and questions thereof
Schwaltzvald replied to The Pezman's topic in General Discussion
The cheapest thing I think you can do is to get this --> http://www.sealedair.com/bubble_home.htm But in all seriousness, the highest capacity portable hard drive I've ever heard was the 500 GB TurboUSB Buffalo MiniStation... Looks pricey... http://www.buffalotech.com/products/external-drives/ministation/ -
I read the title of this thread as "Lolita Video Games and Stuff for Sale". I was dissappointed Seriously though on the list you've posted elsewhere, is that all you have for the PS1 & PS2 ..?

I remember them... Always were worth a good listen to... Haven't listened to their stuff in a good while, real shame though they split...

In the stage you ought to be able to find some holy water or the boomerang, use the holy water as a very short temporary wall against him and his sickles that fly out. With the boomerang you can spam him in the air and knockout the scythes. If you happen to have the triple threat icons, spam him with the holy water+whipping as well as spamming with the boomerangs. He's not that hard once you managed to reach him in a comfortable condition... With the whip only, you can still squeeze out a victory, just need patience and whip him & the sickles as best as you can staying on the right side of the stage. Unless you've managed to sneak onto the other side lol...

It's truly a lot of fun watching the abominations & monsters getting rickrolled

Sent ya a pm about it, do you mind sendspace..? -
Hence my earlier statement in recommending in converting the .ogm file into an .avi file
-
unfortunately I only know a couple of commercial proggies that add subtitles to avi files... I'll pm them to you if you're interested... A thread about adding subtitles to avi files. http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/64557 Plus you'll have an easier time with a .avi file and adding subtitles to it than messing around with ogm files...

To be quite honest I'm not sure myself which sound it would be at the moment since I'm at work; Much different set up here than at my home PC. The best way to learn is to learn the hard way imo, but I'm sure some one else can provide a better answer right now.

settings-->control Panel-->Sound & Audio devices-->Sounds. Should show up on the list... or perhaps you need to turn up the volume for ya to hear... Also hey you can now customize what sounds are playing for specific actions Got the "Self Destruction" alarm used in the Resident Evil ReMake as my shutdown imminent message as well as the short clip of a song used in Resident Evil:CVX, the theme of the twins with the woman singing some words ss my logon sound.

Okay so hey... I just tried both zd soft game recorder and game cam... The first one for one reason or another wouldn't let me see what I'm playing as it records while the second one had some hidden controls which I could not get access for whatever reason... In detail: After setting ZD soft to the preferred settings for both vid and audio, I started to record only to hear the background but not see the target source playing... Nothing but a black screen. When I tried recording while something was moving it would freeze the recording on that screen while the game plays... As for game cam... Following the so called "explanation/tutorial" I still could not access the main controls of the actual program... yeah... assistance if possible please..? ): Tried googling for answers but none "actually" answered my questions...
