Very reminiscent of TF2 in terms of presentation, however that's where it stops as it does give its own way of gameplay separate of TF2. That said, I'll be enjoying both when BF-Heros comes out along with TF2 already here

I've actually played Superman 64 back in the day when I borrowed it from a family friend. Only got as far as to facing Darkseid in some weird area... never got farther then that. Overall the game it self really did have poor controls, unimaginative scenarios as well as shoddy programming. Could have been great but so much crap killed it... Mind you though I've bought Quest 64 and actually enjoyed it. Spent maybe one or two summer playing that game straight through a couple of times...

Silent Hill 1 & 2 are only related in name and area where the games take place. In fact if you want to follow the stories of the Silent Hill series. Go with Silent Hill 1 then 3; where as three takes place years after SH1 as it ties up some loose ends. Silent Hill 2 & 4 are loosely tied togteher; mainly in reference to a particular serial killer mentioned midway in SH2 though overall both are not tied together as 1 & 3. 4 if only for the novelty as it has its own story to tell. Go for the Fatal Frame series as well if you can along with Siren; also from Team Silent...

QFE From what it sounds FR, unless you seriously played it on the hardest mode and discovered it was not difficult at all... I'll rage until you have as... It's one of the only reasons I would ever consider getting a PS3 among some others... The DMC series have always been enjoyable for its brutal challenges and encouragement in being flamboyant in utilizing (in earlier title's case) Dante's skills/abilities. Practically one of the major reasons that DMC 1 & 3 were and still are fun; if not the only reason. If DMC4 is easier than either mentioned titles, even on the hardest mode, it would be a shame....

What are the chances that everybody had in some way or another got StH2 either through Nintendo's or Sony Playstation's Sonic Collections..? I can only imagine that being a huge reason for that... This along with those who prefer/still can play it through original, working systems... Not to mention emulation+hamachi...

Go wired.... May suck but beats no connection at all...

You may as well go to a blockbuster or dvd shop that would fix your game disc for $2 or a little more. Next would be trying to blow away the dust that may have accumulated on the reader. Try again and it ought to work... Goodluck

It's true, shall I remind you guys of the shovelware that the Wii occasionally gets while the PS3 is hardly getting them out to begin with. Xbox360 seems more in the middle but quite a few of their good titles are available on the PC to begin with so that almost makes it moot point to have an Xbox360... Mind you though if I really were to get consoles... it would be both the Wii and PS3, if only to get the most out of gaming for this gen. edit: holy fuck I haven't done a run on sentence in an incredibly long time... edit2: nevermind my eyes must be playing tricks as I missed the punctuation...

Some time when I get my wifi connection for my ds settled, I'd like to challenge you. Don't worry, I'm one of those that actually like to see through a game to the end

QFE & T THIS CAN NOT EVER BE EMPHASISED ENOUGH THESE DAYS~! ... got a couple of co-workers who thought using an industrial vacuum cleaner is the right tool to get rid of the dust within a pc... Needless to say it didn't have good results... edit: what the hell happened to Vector Linux's site..? Did it just crash a good while ago and they;re fixing it slowly...?

Earthworm Jim -- New Jack City remix
Schwaltzvald replied to ChironX's topic in Post Your Game ReMixes!
!! I really like it~! Fun take on Junk city's theme, though I feel it's a bit minimal... I feel something's missing... like a dinner of Liver but no onions... I don't know... I like it regardless though Edit: needs more cowbell -
fixed for preference and god damn wussies need not apply and ruin the challenge >:[ no offense

Um.... wow... to be blunt... based on the samples I heard on the page... in my opinion... it sucked... To be specific... In fairness the samples do not do a very good job of presenting the tracks. Only tracks 8 & 12 slightly grabs my attention and even then I'm doubtful I'd even consider "borrowing" it to really judge them let alone buying the album all together... I did not find any of the tracks beyond what I've felt was mediocre at best. Real shame too... Once again, just my opinion...

You don't have to spend something such as $1500 all at the same time. Just manage your budget and you can do it. Heck the TV can wait considering its a unitasker and the car, while grants you mobility is technically a big money drain unless you manage to convert your car's engine to eat another source of fuel...

So yeah... Ninja Gaiden DS: http://ds.ign.com/articles/777/777221p1.html Real iffy about it... controlled by the stylus entirely...? I miss old-school Ninja Gaiden ;_;

Of course one shouldn't build a PC {b]just{/b} for gaming, that ought to be a no brainer considering you may as well get a console if you're just gonna game. The only other benefit is that depending on how it's built it's bound to live a lot longer than a console would. Again it depends on the build... GH3 isn't a PC game/shouldn't be one despite there being a port to it (I've never heard of a PC version of GH3)
-
QFT & E Not that consoles are bad, just that few games are worth getting a console for, and pc game ports imo are not an excuse to play on a console when its superior on the PC to begin with...

the system requirements for CoD4 A couple of guys on here can't get cod4 to work, because their graphics cards are too old. Here is what you need to run CoD4 What are the requirements to run COD4 on a PC? Recommended requirements: CPU: 2.4 GHz Dual Core or better RAM: 1GB for XP and 2GB for Vista HD: 8GB Free Space GFX: 3.0 Shader Support, Nvidia Geforce 7800, ATI Radeon X1800 or better. Minimum requirements: CPU: Intel® Pentium® 4 2.4 GHz, AMD® Athlon™ 64 2800+ processor or any 1.8Ghz Dual Core Processor or better. RAM: 512MB RAM (768MB for Windows Vista) HD: 8GB Free SPace GFX: NVIDIA® Geforce™ 6600, ATI® Radeon® 9800Pro or better I've played F.E.A.R. at a little above its system minimum requirements and it still played just as awesomely as it did at a friend's PC who exceeded it. He also plays CoD4 on a mid ranger system and plays just as good

Guitar Hero 3: Through the Fire and Flames...100%?!?!?
Schwaltzvald replied to prophetik music's topic in General Discussion
Yeah I still listen to them just as I still check out others like Nightwish and Sonata Arctica. It's rather sweet though despite what has changed over time they are still enjoyable to listen to.. This one blew me away when I first heard it. Considering they changed the lead female vocalist, who has an operatic voice, this new one made me think more powermetally than the former. Doesn't hurt the song at all though I hope to hear more new stuff as time marches on. -
Fixed for the truth

You can try amazon. http://www.amazon.com/s?ie=UTF8&tag=mozilla-20&index=blended&link%5Fcode=qs&field-keywords=Nintendo%20DS&sourceid=Mozilla-search Toysrus: http://www.toysrus.com/product/index.jsp?productId=2882437 Your best bet would be either amazon or ebay... goodluck~! edit: I've noticed walmarts & bestbuys in my state of Maryland always having a ds or two being bought out constantly fast and the store's restocking them with ease... maybe they robbed the New Jersey stocks..?

SO YEAH... Recently bought myself "Advance Wars: Days of Ruin" since I've skipped out on the other titles except the first one that came on the GBA. I have to say it's an extreme jump from back then to now. Rather dark with some bits of "epic" feeling to them. Nothing like rushing in with bombers, biplanes, and Copters while finishing them off with mechs, battleships and carriers. I also like how they have a map editor available for the start and have some options to play it against a friend even if he/she doesn't have a copy of AW:DoR via trading back and forth in person. I haven't tried to see if it has wi-fi just yet, but that's bound to get more interesting if it does.

One of the funniest things I've ever seen
