I still think it'd be neat if they readded the feather item.

I don't remember the name of my previous two, but my current one has the name of Bombadil. Also, the hard drive of the work computer the techs(Well there were actually only two of us) used at the place died once. We got a new drive and labelled it the "Christ Drive". I think that's probably still its name if someone else checks it.

The little narrative in the ending credits is the most cringeworthy thing in the game.

Beat this game on Sunday. 92% completion and about 15 hours. Thought alot of the bosses were pretty fun. The bryyo major boss was the only one to kill me.(I think the difficulty to him is you're just not completely used to aiming and other things quite yet). Also, Metroids are fricken annoying until you get the xray/nova combo. Takes about 8 quick charge shots or if you're lucky with a missile(they dodge those pretty easily). I liked alot of the game, even if it was predictable. As soon as the other trooper gets on the elevator with you, I suddenly thought Gandrayda and was like here comes another boss battle. Then sure enough (s)he shoots at you. She was unexpectedly more difficult though so that made the fight pretty neat(Plus the having to shake her off if she jumped at you). The visible effects of corruption were pretty awesome too, and I didn't notice them until I reached 50% corrupted. Not only does it change her suit but her face as well. Check her reflection in the scan visor to notice it. Gonna go for 100% completion then start a new game.

They're seperate I believe. Also regarding that hunter thing a page back Spoilers I think Rundas was probably corrupted pretty quick. He's arrogant and thinks he can handle anything. Probably stayed in hyper mode for too long aka "corrupt hyper mode" and became corrupted himself(This can happen to you as well remember?) As for Ghor, he might have been the easiest. Phazon seems to love machinery and circuitry(Feeds off of the power?). Plus Ghor becomes quite a bit different when bonded with his giant armor suit(Also noted in the log entry). Gandrayda, however, may have taken a while longer than the other two. Although she was competitive with Samus, she didn't take the bounty hunting as seriously as the others. She thought of it as a game and probably wouldn't have used hyper mode as haphazardly. I haven't reached her yet, so I'm not sure as to the nature of her corruption yet. Their deaths are also there to show Samus what the phazon is doing. There comes a point where the corruption is irreversable. Where Phazon was so much a part of them that if you removed it you'd kill them(It seems to bond with organic matter, as well as mutate it). They further illustrated this point after the fight against ghor(Samus tries to save ghor and kill the corrupted dark samus thing[what the heck is that anyways? Reminds me of Mothman Prophecies]). Keep in mind that the hunters were also out there for two weeks before Samus, and had been outfitted with PEDs. The phazon had more time to corrupt them. Also, hyper ball was completely unexpected.

This game's been awesome so far. It's been pretty easy for me though, I probably shoulda just done veteran from the get go. Anyways I'd like to discuss the first major(Or minor...not sure) boss of Bryyo SPOILEREDTEXTOFWHITE Rundas was really really easy for me. I think he only hit me once and that was with one of the ice chunks he tossed. After you rip his armor off, I missiled him to stun him, then went into hyper mode and shot the hell out of him. Doing this twice killed him. The scan said he was able to go hyper too, but never got the chance. I just wanna know, does hyper mode make everything this easy? I'll probably not use it for boss fights if its just some super god mode weapon. NOMORESPOILERTEXT All that said, I'm agreeing with most of what has already been said here, also big kudos to the being able to start a new game with your previous scans.

Sometimes it pays living in the middle of nowhere. The Best Buy here got a shipment in at lunch as they suspected. Stopped by and grabbed one, looked like no one else had gotten one yet.

I agree with this. MP2 did better on making you think twice before jumping into something. I didn't want to enter Torvus's water area for quite some time, cause I was thinking "restricted movement and combat, not good, abort abort abort." Also on hard mode I've been more liberal with my weapons in boss fights. I'd usually just use charge shots and super missiles(once they were available), and save my missiles for other things(I blame this behavior on Doom, Halflife, and Gunman Chronicles). When I ran into the Alpha Splinter on MP2 in hard mode, it got me down to 8 energy and still had 1/3 health left. Of course I thought I was doomed, then I realized, "Hey I have missiles, screw this.". I will admit I liked MP better than MP2, but I still think they were both great games. Also, Best Buy here said they'd probably get it sometime around noon or 12:30. I think I'll wait an extra 30 minutes before taking lunch break.

Which one was spider guardian? I remember Boost being really annoying. But have no recollection of spider guardian. Must not have been a problem for me.

After being reminded of metroid now, I think it'd be neat to have those metroid gremlins, or ostrich thing, as an assist trophy or something.
