    yeah, my memory fails me. i probably should have thought about that before i jumped to conclusions though i think some FF or even preferably some more KH-exclusive worlds would help break the monotony of saving the same Disney worlds over and over (despite game-to-game differences)

    and in no way does this sound like some standard gameboy tune (or NES, or whatever).

    . i'm really not trying to be an ass or anything but i just don't think you are were appreciating it for what it really is (which is not a chiptune, in the conventional sense of the word; although some classic sounds are certainly represented and enhanced). i guess i can say it is one of my chippiest tracks, but it really has so much more to offer..

    either way, i'm glad you came to enjoy it, and i hope you are able to enjoy my forthcoming mixes as well.

    well i was actually referring to his appearance in KH2, but yeah FF6 had a few too many protagonists to begin with imo i think squall mentioned something about his homeworld being destroyed by heartless in KH1, iirc

    this is the DS one, the PSP one is called Birth by Sleep i absolutely love the KH series as well, although i don't have a ds or psp nor do i really play video games much at all these days

    honestly, this does not make me think of final fantasy vii or sephiroth at all. even after a second listen i can only barely follow the source in this, if at all. those choir shouts are the only thing that give it away. that being said, this track is pure gold from a production standpoint and will certainly make it into my collection.

    wow, i guess i never caught this. you guys are awesome - i definitely enjoyed that. and larry, you are the man. also just a comment on this whole live collaboration situation; ben's one of my good buds - not only do we live in the same 'general' area, but we actually went to high school together and have been within that proximity ever since. anyway, thanks! glad you guys dig our mix. you'll certainly hear from us again.

    i loved this from the very first second. i honestly wasn't catching on to the source until about 1:10 although I may have just been enjoying it too much to notice. on a second listen I can definitely recognize the original throughout and your interpretation is just plain awesome. it gives the song a whole new feel, but i think it would still be very fitting if used within the context of the game. i don't see that very often wonderful mix. i'm definitely looking forward to seeing this on ocr.

    this is one of my favorite remixes on the site - one of the few that really inspired me to get into remixing myself. it's so good... i've always wished beej would come back with more.

    yeah, this is an astounding remix. pixie's voice is so powerful and zircon's production is just top-notch. extremely impressive. it gives me goosebumps every time i listen to it. you guys are fantastic.
