  1. Reminds me of the "Evacuating London" song from Chronicles of Narnia. Good vocals will work really well. ^-^ Excited for you!
  2. awww, there there. The song if friggin awesome. It's got this really catchy quirkiness to it cuz you spliced and diced it so much. I never knew this song could be changed into something like this. O.O Very creative stuff. =)
  3. I'll second that on the synth. It sounds great. Absynth produced? (which I'm dying to get btw. does it sap CPU a lot?)
  4. Ah, I've been curious about this one also. Thanks a lot. Crazy quality for something that's that old!
  5. haha, it'd be such a shot in the foot if everyone thought it made it but it actually didn't =/
  6. Omg, finally! w00t. Ever since you helped me get on my feet (After my first terrible SoE remix, haha) I've been rooting for one of your tracks to get on the site. Guess this is the one. ^-^ GJ! Hope this'll just be the first of many too , k?
  7. I do hear a ressemblance between this ReMix and the older version of your recently accepted one seph. (Congratz btw!!) Both are pretty badass as is. So was the Advent Children soundtrack. Maybe thats where the distinction is being made? Under style instead of theme?
  8. If you get a cheaper keyboard, you could use the remaining of that money towards getting some sweet samples PLUS a decent host/sequencer. I can't say I have the job or time to get that sort of money to devote towards anything, but hey, this site's perfect for people in my situation you know! If you don't want to spend the money on samples, go to this link under the ReMixing forum and get loads of free samples: SAMPLES GALORE Of course, it's hard to beat the ones you buy with your hard-earned money (or however else you get it O.O) with these freeware ones. It's an excellent place to start though. AND, with some tweaking and imagination, they can sound pretty damn good. I'm in full agreement with Koelsch to read the guides on this site. The guides'll teach you how to do things from the beginning. Then the rest is up to your imagination! Have fun!
  9. i don't take u for a kid. For my 2 cents timing does seem a lil off. Like some parts are a half a beat too soon in some places. Easy fix. Sick.
  10. I don't have much time to say anything right now. I'll say more after, but you've got some good drum programming going later in the mix. Which Editor do you use?
  11. Lol, man I just turned 15 pretty recently. Am I considered a kid? >.< Sry, just for personal reassurance. Because I don't know who to speak on who's side =P
  12. A loved the original and this songs pretty cool! Reminds me of the town theme in Diablo because of the tune of the guitar. THe off-tune business somehow works with me; might not with others, but I like it ^-^. I have to say get another tambourine sample though. It sliced right through the mellow atmosphere you created like a hot knife through butter. (Lmao, cliches, gotta love them to death.) I like different things, and this works. Congrats!
  13. While not all the samples are of the highest quality, the overriding factor is the outstanding arrangement. I couldn't help but think of Star Wars at 2:40. Dun dun dun dun...alright I'll stop there, haha. Nice work!!
  14. and this is.....where? Btw, holy crap $5000? No kidding? That's a hefty amount.
  15. Sequencer: - FL Studio 5 Samples: - all the soundfonts I can get. Hardware: - mouse - keyboard - airport headphones (I'm serious) Ermm, yeah I feel like shit now, lmao. I'm so poor. I need a hug...
  16. Chilled stuff. I'm curious to know what you use to make your music. Especially the drum programming and effects you put on them (for other songs also, not just this one). Very cool!
  17. This is very simple and easy going, which adds to its appeal factor. I dig the cheesy instruments and synths. Its really catchy! For some reason I think it's missing something though. I think it needs a wider soundscape to support what's going on up front. You'll definitely need to make this longer, but I'm sure you know that. A modulation section is a must!! Very good job so far though! The quality's excellent, especially for a newcomer. Welcome to OCR! p.s. Feel free to use soundclick. Don't worry about the FAQ.
