Thanks guys! Doing the shortcuts was probably the hardest part of putting the video together. The Royal Raceway one at 1:50 took probably twenty tries to get, but I'm most proud of the powerslide up the ramp at 2:02 -- I'd never done that before.

Glad it's enjoyed. I'd love to do more stuff like this if I had the time.

This got kinda overshadowed by my album release last month, but a while back I put together a music video for Tweek and my Mario Kart "Day's End" remix. Tweek sent me some video footage of him on the guitar, and I mixed it with some of my keyboard playing, shortcut videos, and FL Studio playthrough footage. Enjoy.

Whether it's his or not, that Star Wolf track is epic. The FF6 Decisive Jazz track is arranged very well, too. But yeah, I checked the SSB Brawl one right after that and it sounded pretty bad. Dunno.

It kinda depends. I'll just fly through some tracks I do, while others take much longer. I did my section of the Global Empire collab (about 2 minutes worth of music, plus the solo) in two afternoons, with another session devoted to final mixing and mastering. Aqueous Transgression was spread out over about a month of work, but again, in short chunks of time (as dannthr alluded to, would be a common complaint of most mixers here.) More recently, I moved very quickly through the track I did for Blind's project (like three or four days), but that's pretty uncommon for me to finish a piece that quickly.

Very uplifting work. Nice mix, can hear everything clearly. My one gripe is that there's almost "too" much empty space. Otherwise I really enjoyed it.

A week ago I would have agreed, but with both Zambrano and Harden going down and out indefinitely, plus the recent 6 straight home losses and their bats going to sleep, the NL is up for grabs. Obviously, they'll make the playoffs but they're looking very beatable. It's all about whose pitching staff gets hottest at the right time.

Huge White Sox and baseball fan here. I played baseball all high school, *narcissism* actually hit for the cycle in the sectional championship game in our high school's first ever sectional win. *end narcissism* Tampa is a great feel-good story compared to the crazy high budget markets like Boston and New York; I hope they hold on to that division lead. Was kinda hoping Milwaukee would pick up some games on the Cubs in their most recent nosedive, but it's looking like they'll hold on to that division spot. Quentin going down kinda hurts, though... Er, I thought I lost two days of stuff I had been working on with Fishy's and my Bowser mix. I found a backup in the FL Trash Bin and all is well.

Not really annoying as much as it's just...strange. And long. This would be a fun track to coordinate.

The usual recommendations for budget orchestral libraries ($200 and less) are GPO and EWQL silver. I've heard different perspectives, but it seems that the consensus is usually about 75/25% in favor of EWQL. I personally recommend EWQL because I like the louder more bombastic type of sound that it brings, although it can handle most everything pretty convincingly. Can't speak to GPO from personal experience.

That was one of the first songs that pulled me into OCR.

In the business world, a good GPA helps in getting your first job out of college. After that, it really doesn't mean much at all. With that said, it's also much better to be sitting at, say, 3.5 with several extracurricular activities (volunteer work, student organizations) than at 3.9 with none whatsoever.

I was browsing through some OCRemixes here and the intro is precisely what kept me listening to this track. Love the epic grand feel of the track and the warm bass throughout is great. Def can hear the bgc style here.
