  1. Jill/zircon, I PMed the link for that Mario Kart video to you guys. It's a big download (230 mb or so), so leave enough time for it.
  2. Not really "cutesy" but I'm sure you could find something usable in the album you just purchased.
  3. Well, it looks like the laptop is dead. I'll be trying to recover the data within the next few days.... Guess who's in the market for a new laptop?
  4. We just had a big storm last night, with tornadoes in the area and all that good stuff. I had my laptop up to keep an eye on the radar when we had a very near lightning strike which cut our power out for a few seconds. Usually if you cut the power, the laptop will keep running with the battery, but here it shut it off completely. Now when I try to turn it on, I get no response except for the power light flashing briefly when I let go of the power button. I'm going to take it in tomorrow but is this something that even sounds fixable (replacing power supply or whatever)? Or if not, at least recovering everything I have on it?
  5. Wow, that source tune is very similar to Chrono Trigger's "Guardia Castle" theme. Checked out this mix cause' we need some more Mario Party love here. The sounds are a little generic and it sounds like you've got reverb awash over everything. Even though you're using different synths, they all sound the same. Get some variety in there! The melodies are kinda aimless, and this definitely needs some drumwork to pull the track along. Just keep working at it.
  6. "100% wet" means that the plugin unit affects the entire signal going through. "50% wet" would mean that half of the signal goes through unaffected, with the other half being affected by the distortion and reverb unit (in this case). He's joking btw.
  7. Thanks guys! Feel free to drop which tracks you like best. And yeah, the art turned out pretty nice, didn't it?
  8. Sup guys, I'm pleased to announce my debut album release, "One Day Millennium" with the newly formed Protagonist Records label! Track listing: White Rain Time's Eye Old School Style Visions (featuring violin by Jeff Ball) Lockdown Breach Vintage Metropolis (featuring guitar by Nekofrog and Andrew Luers) He's A Pirate (Audix Remix) Laws of Motion Christmas Epic Mystique (featuring guitar by Cain McCormack) Rapture Dawn Total time: 50:05 Stylistically, the album revolves around melodic trance/dance and breakbeats, with an emphasis on strong, memorable melodies. Several of the tracks have won multiple awards on Ourstage and Soundclick and the album features a completely remastered version of the youtube hit remix, "He's A Pirate (Audix remix)." 9. You can't delete songs. Supposedly Daniel's working on it but it hasn't been implemented yet as far as I know.
  10. http://www.audixmusic.com/documents/thinkningsmaller.jpg Thanks Larry. You're a peach.
  11. "Time Chill," by mv http://www.ocremix.org/remix/OCR01132/
  12. It starts promising, but it's just way too repetitive. You've pretty much got the same motif over and over for 2 1/2 minutes. To make OCR you're going to need to work on arrangement quite a bit. I was really hoping you'd work the piano melody in to break up the monotony. With that said, production sounds good. Beatwork is minimal but sounds clear and clean. You've got a winner here if you can work on some more interesting arrangement.
  13. I started playing piano around my junior year of high school. I'm not "as good as" those who have been playing much longer, but I'm decent. Who knows, you might have some untapped musical ability down there somewhere...go for it.
  14. This. Or click the icon in the top left corner of the channel settings window that says "Assign free mixer track."
  15. Automating the delay is probably your easiest bet; nothing "clunky" about that IMO.
  16. Group shot @ TGI Friday's Outside Fourth Street Live Playing some Goldeneye Larry would be proud
  17. Mine's "done," but I didn't have time to polish it off as I would have liked to. It'll be released as a "short edit" here, and I'll be submitting a longer and more developed version to OCR. Hope you enjoy, Blind.
  18. Here you go. From left to right: Tweek, Rick Barretto, Big Giant Circles, Audix Also, bgc, maybe rename the thread to say that "pictures start on page 23."
  19. Add "&fmt=18" to the end of the URL. http://youtube.com/watch?v=qGW8N8Jx3x0&fmt=18 It doesn't really help with people browsing through youtube, but it offers higher quality videos if you direct link to them.
