Here is an updated track list. Given the songs we know that are going to be finished 100% certainty, we should end up with 13 songs on each disc. There are a few possibilities that could work out; if that's the case we might get lucky and get 30 songs finished for the project. It also has not been around as long as the other big names. IMO it would be a great idea to put it on the list. People can download it for free legally. It would help promote this great tool for people starting out who just wanna learn and have fun without investing per say in any tools.

But there are two girls with that cup. nRich I would like the have the song in by April 13th.....2009. Good luck mate! There are three more songs that are just about completed. It'd be cool if we got to 25 songs but I am not gonna hold out for that at all. Getting the torrents, mirrors, and final website update with correct info could take some time. But getting in all of the finished tracks is kinda friggin essential for those next steps.

Incredible piano intro! The synth lead goes really well with the lead guitar. Def glad to see the project this one def does not disappoint for the opening song.

Ahh still 20 dude. I had counted your track as done. I was satisfied with it before. But the final touches are def nice. You can def make some tweaks dude. Tales and FFIV have to be released, and DK2 is rounding out nicely too. So the que for projects is mighty. The big thing now is getting the missing wav files from people and bio/song info. And I am working on contacting people for hosting info.

I love the sources; but what I found best is this mix didn't seem to stick to the sources. Rather the remix had it's own agenda and thought and the sources were merely used as building blocks to build upon this. Excellent stuff Dan; love to see Lufia get some bonified lovin!

Sweetness. I was gonna start doing the backing for the sax solo song as well. Great news everyone r3forged just finished his track as well. That makes 19 total finished. I know regardless is the world ends we will be getting at least 1 more track. So this project is def a go to be released as soon as we apply the finishing touches. I would love to have 25 tracks total but I'd be more than happy with 20-22. Thanks everyone for your continued support thus far!

Hate to break it to ya dude, but unless the program you use has rewire you are prob shite outta luck. It looks like there might be some way to get midi yoke to work with parts of Reason: http://www.bome.com/midi/keyboard/help/rsn3_tut.php BUT it's gonna take some mighty googling to figure exactly how to get it to work in the way you want it to. Reason 4's midi is not atrocious and is perfectly fine for making quick edits to existing tracks. Maybe give it an honest 2-3 weeks and see if you can adapt to Reason's midi a bit better. Working in one program for a song is usually gonna MUCH faster than working in multiple programs. Good luck!

Completely agree. There is a quote from dance producer Arksun where he says that more dance producers use software more than people realize. Some use software only. As far as I know Arksun uses only softsynths. To add to the synths zircon mentioned would be Blue and the JP8000 (overused but still sounds great, just like the Virus ) Although IMO if you are willing to splash the cash just go for Omnisphere. They just updated it with new dance patches and DAMN...they are prob exactly what you are looking for. Omnisphere has the it's own synth engine along with tons of samples and raw waveforms from other synths and other crazy stuff. It's only $500 compared to the hefty price of a snow.

Yeah as soon as we get 20 tracks we are done. WE HAVE 17 DONE RIGHT NOW. I have contacted a few people and taken on yet another track in order to finish this thing. The website is basically done. It will just have to be updated so it displays the correct info for the final track list. I have contacted people about mirrors too, some have agreed but I still their website info. Artists have been contacted every month or two asking them to finish their songs. We won't be able to release until Tales and FFIV release. If the DK2 project makes faster progress than we do we will have to wait even longer. Frankly in about a month or two things could happen for that will completely take over my life but I will still send out PMs to get this thing released. It is unfair to those artists who finished songs quickly and cared about the project. But in terms of project history Brad pretty much hit the nail on the head. There are some STELLAR tracks on this project from artists. I think there have been in the realm of 3-4 direct posts already.

Thank you so much dude. I truly hope people will at least find one track on the project that pull on the ole heart strings and reminds them of the game. We were all just as excited making this as you are listening to the preview. (that preview wasn't even all the songs either) IMO the greatest talent in music is one of patience, understanding, and work ethic. yf You got those you can do anything. THANKS!
