I gotta say, I didn't like this at first, mostly because of the irrelevant intro, but man does it ever take off after that. You singing is so varied and layered and processed so well, it sounds so professional, like a wall of sound. The intro rapping is growing on me aswell now. It makes me really enjoy Cid's theme whenever I hear it now, so mission accomplished definately.

This kicks ass. Reminds me of those hilarious action movie intros. Can't wait to see the video.

It differs. Most of the older projects were started by judges, but pretty much anyone can start them if they get permission from zircon/liontamer. Even some non-remixers have started and directed projects. Regardless of who started them; they're not always sucesful, but it helps to be well known/respected.

Art/Web Design/Hosting are all things that need to be done for projects aswell, if you can do any of those things. I suppose you could find another well known remixer and try and direct a project with them, but its very unlikely that you could start one by yourself.

If you think thats the jist of the what the majority of the project is, then I don't believe you listened to the whole thing properly. Only a few tracks (probably mine included) are even near to being guilty of that. I'm all for constructive criticism, but that sort of comment CAN'T be applied to a whole set of 45 tracks and be expected to be accepted. I would be very careful about putting phrases like "no work done at all" into a critique of anything.

Im fairly sure Steffan also sounds awesome because he has Gigastudio, not that that makes him any less of a genius. His orchestration is crazy good.

I don't think they can be incompatible. Try finding a VST soundfont player, there are a few free ones. I know sonar can do VST hosing, so you should be able to use soundfonts this way. I don't know much about using sonar as it never really worked for me, but try asking on their forums.

I hate Cait Sith. If he didn't come back, and he actually died for good, he would have been one of my favourite characters, and then yeah that would have probably been my favourite bit of the game.

hehe, good to see you've prioritised. I still get a little unsettled. Tbh the bit that makes me really really sad to that point is when the plate falls on sector 7. Barret gets all angry and anxious heart plays . Makes me sad just thinking about it.

They create themselves. Whenever someone listens to a song with an artist not on the page, it just makes one. Thats why you get loads of individual pages for every collab on the site. It just reads the artist tag literally.

I actually really enjoyed it. I was a bit skeptical when I read it wasn't by Nobuo, and it took me a while to come to like it. Its much more intense musically then the other titles, especially the battle themes. I find myself liking really odd tracks like the Sandsea music. I dont think I'd like it as much if it didn't fit the game so well though.
