That chord hit repeating pattern really juts out and feels out of place at times. Once you get everything going, it's majorly cluttered sounding.
The drums and the tempo of the music are giving me mixed feeling about the pace and vibe. It feels a little slower than the drums are trying to drive it. I'm not really explaining it well.
BTW, have you finished that Guilty Gear WIP you had a while back?
Yeah, I'm definitely overhauling the sounds of choice and putting in a lot more rearrangement before I send anything off to you Proph.
THe only other project I worked on was for OLR, and I want this to be a lot better than what I put on there.
Well, you were, once I got the arrangement done. As it is, it's really short, and just minor variations. I kinda forgot about it, and it needs some major work for what we're doing here. I'll contact you when I feel like I'm 80% there.
I'll see if I can work with it. I have had a great deal of hardship arranging Sakuraba in the past, because I feel like I'm ruining a priceless painting by drawing a mustache on the central figure, if you know what I mean.
Only CptPicard can say that.
And looking at the track list once again I notice the absence of both Vigorous Town and Harmonious Moment and am reminded of how sad this makes me.
I'm in the same boat as Bundleslang. I won't be able to vote due to vacation-y purposes. Hopefully my competition absolutely blows me out of the water (my spoon collection is growing steadily).
Since I have no chance of being on the project with the minimal arrangement/production, mine is the first mix formally in the competition. I look forward to hearing these before I leave tomorrow.
We did suggest it, it just didn't get mentioned on its own. Anything from that period by Lucas Arts was almost guaranteed gold.
Also for something later, check out Obsidian.
