Though not as horrendous as this, the Mortal Kombat Album was pretty fantastically bad.

It takes some serious effort to get down to level one. I seem to be doing it wrong.

I would just like to point out the not so subtle pro-drugs statement in the write-up. This emits a very strong mood. I think I'm going to have to listen this when I'm in a better mood.

The source is too cartoony for me to make it cartoony and madcap. Which is what I normally do. Sorries . I will have a WIP level entry by the end of Sunday, I promise.

The intro to Tyrian one sounds decidedly cheesy and lo-fi. Once the songs starts, it seems to lack drive from the leads. Drums are pushed a little too far back. I think a little more spacing out your soundfield would help with panning and whatnot. Whenever something is working alone without backing harmonies, they sound oh so very bare and brittle. No advice on how to help you there. I don't know the original, so I'm just going to comment on going back to a sort of 'chorus' with no real changes to any part. Might want to add a little something different the second time through.

Once maybe 3 more of the projects finish, a more experienced member of the community would be able to spearhead a project. But I'm fairly sure that SoTN wouldn't be anywhere near the top choice.

So awesome! I loved this mix as a WIP and still love it as a completed work. The cheesy cello solo is alright by me, but you never really reworked that harp.
