  1. I'm not an expert on production quality, but I will say that there isn't any clipping/over compression and there's a lot of dynamics and expression here. Great melodies and rhythm too. Nice work dood. BTW, is that E/W instruments?
  2. Quite the range of talent and sounds there, color me impressed. Lol...Gas Man's Stage. That I'd love to see. Think I wound up downloading 3 of your tunes already. Harsh Life and Mushroom Forest Dance I liked the most (though I skipped ahead on a few of the tracks =p)
  3. Oh hell yeah. There is a lot of depth to this. 80's synths rock.
  4. Yeah this gives an underwater hell vibe. Reminds me of a lot of Sega games. The samples are legit and this is lit. gr8 m8 I rate 8/8
  5. Has a gangsta vibe to it (oh, so that's Trap). Really digging this. 1:10 is a sick breakdown. Love it when there is dynamics like this. The HH's are on point naga.
  6. Update (final YT upload fix hopefully) Bandcamp Spotify Apple Music Amazon Music
  7. The production value here is top notch. This is like Cosmic Star Heroine level awesome. Nice work Meteo! $5 is a friggin' steal x_x (good idea to let fans pay more though) Also, amazing vocal sample for track 3 "Aladdin Continent". E-guitar samples in track 4 are da bomb . I need me some quality like that... Shame that this project hasn't come into full fruition, but at least you have an awesome album to show for. Thanks for sharing Meteo (edit) I've listened multiple times in the car whilst doin' chores etc. And I still wanna hear more. This album is a blast!
  8. Bought it. Happy to support the community :3 (haven't even listened yet) But I will do so when I slap 'em in my USB/car radio thingy. edit) Listened to Flight to Europa. This is some kick ass EDM/trance, reminds me of Contra: Shattered Soldier.
  9. Thanks for feedback Pavos. I did some reworking on the sly on a few of the tracks (Luckily before anyone made a purchase), so may be worth taking another listen (edit) "Cyborg Stardust Journey" has been edited some more on the down-low...Should be in a place where I'm happy with it now. Apologies for the rough version beforehand.
  10. So...this is a monumental moment for me. "Cyborg Hobo Cavemen" has been released. Been dragging my feet way too long, mired in some ADD + OCD fueled quagmire. But no longer!! *thunder claps* Hope you guys like it Addendum: Put a less obnoxious bass sample on track 5. https://hoboka1.bandcamp.com/album/cyborg-hobo-cavemen
  11. What!!?? So many SANIC votes?? (2bf I prefer MM over Mario tunes...so...can't really beat the drum on that one?) (edit) I'll try and participate this time. Dropped the ball last round. x_X
  12. aaand I missed an opportunity to inject a free win. And it was a short tune. And I feel sad. x-x
  13. Good to go. Ready for spooky October. I've reserved the other ((secret)) theme for your next win.
  14. Compo: MnP (Meat 'n Potatoes) MIDI: https://compo.thasauce.net/files/materials/MnP106_Ducktales_-_Translvanyia_.mid Let's try DuckTales - Transylvania, also known as Stage 2. It's a rather simple rock type tune, with a lovely melody, and lot of spooky atmosphere. The stage is a Halloween type stage, and this music is also. Perfectly fitting! -TheVideoGamer Deadline: Oct 28th Mon @ 1PM Vote Ends: Oct 31st Thu @ 11PM MnP ARCHIVE - made by Trism submit: https://compo.thasauce.net/rounds/view/MnP106 MISSION STATEMENT The goal of Compo:MnP is to promote that "meat and potatoes" conservative approach to remixing: this includes the mood and composition of source tunes. It is up to the remixer to create their own personalization, or to simply give it a sound upgrade. Moreover, the compo is a great opportunity to hone your remixing skills and give video game music the respect that is due. SOME reinterpretation is recommended, but not required. MnP Instructions/Guidelines Covers and Sound Upgrades are permitted. Most or all of the source notes must be present (but not necessarily in the exact same order), secondly the mood (energy, pacing, feelings being conveyed etc) should also be retained. For example, a source tune that is fast-paced and energetic that's remixed into a mellow/chill-out theme would be a hard sell. If you decide to do a genre swap (i.e. symphonic to techno), make sure that the conditions of #2 are met. Submissions must be at a maximum of 20mb (keeping in step with ThaSauce's file size max). Only 1 entry per participant. Previous winner cannot participate but can submit a BONUS entry. Please don't make any comments about people's entries - including your own - until the Voting process is concluded. BONUS entries are exempt of this rule. Same rules for PRC voting Stage: don't vote for yourself, be considerate and try to give reasonable feedback as to why you liked X or Y entry. All competitors and voters must adhere to the rules stated within: Competition Code and Conduct MISC/TIPS - When picking a source tune, make sure it has a MIDI to make ppl's lives easier. - In-game sound FX are permitted, so long as they don't comprise the whole track (i.e. replacing entire MIDI tracks with just sfx)
  15. Update: just hashing out some stuff with TheVideoGamer. I forgot that it's horror month coming up. I usually do something spooky for October soooo. Hopefully TVG will come around
  16. Oh, I think I can top you in annoyingness AND difficulty to deal with, mah boi. I just recently had a meltdown in one of the private chats for a current project, I will say no more beyond that. One of about 2 dozen ,maybe, in why whole time at OCR?? I can't handle stress for shiiiit. Maybe that's why I prefer the lax atmosphere in this corner of the woods. On to relevant stuff...I should've at least phoned an entry in. Ah well. I like the discreet additions you put in [Nebulous Funk] to switch things up. Production quality is OK. I appreciate the generous amount of reverb too, (edit) I love going full-ham on the reverb lmao. edit2 Sorry turnout wasn't optimal @Rejwan. Hopefully your next pick will see more attention.
  17. Well, time sure goes by. Wasn't feeling overly inspired, alas. So, TVG, you win the round. PM me your pick for round 106
  18. 3 day extension you mad lads. I better get off my ass and make something.
