The reasoning behind it seems rather simple, with WoW having such a huge playerbase. They're selling character statues and such, so why not energy drinks? Yeah, WoW is a slow game compared to FPSes, and I figure that nobody but rogue-players will have any kind of benefit from a sugar rush. On the other hand, I don't know how intense PVP is as any other class.

Heavens no! That boss theme was enough to ruin the game for me.

Same here. I've registered on their website, for what might be a newsletter (I think it was a newsletter, but not 100% certain), and created a Square-Enix online account as well. I hope one of the two will grant me a beta invite when the time comes. Also, I've begun following this site closely. I'm way too excited about this.

I feel the same way about Advent Children Complete. Really, I feel like I only bought a demo of the movie the first time around. As you said, finally the plot makes some sense.

I'd love to see more Pokemon rawk though. I would really have expected the site to have more Pokemon mixes back when I first joined. Of course, now there's the Missingno tracks coming up, so I might finally get my fix.

I used to play samurai by the name Avenius. I started out on Ramuh, but moved to Hades when they created those new servers. I also get "homesick" sometimes, no other game has had such an immersive world, although the gameplay really was too slow. Damn, I hope they follow up the concept of skill chains. That's one of my favourite features in FFXI, although I've been told nobody uses them anymore

They said that they would not make any statements regarding the prices yet, but the monthly fee is pretty standard, so I guess they'd just follow that.

Does anyone know how well it handles audio yet? Vista isn't very good at handling that, apparently.

FFXI swallowed quite a couple of years of my life. This might just be the trigger to pull me back in.

What? Thasauce is still up. I agree with you that alot of potential might be lost because people give up when they get a NO though. I've heard mixes that have been on par with at least older OCRemixes, and that I personally really enjoyed, but were rejected. But that might be a different topic.

The way I see it, the bar has followed the progress of the "regulars", or something in that vein. The members that started out with a regular, healthy interest in music have grown up and gotten really good at what they do. There's a huge gap between the levels of skill now. Maybe that also shows through the mixes?

So, I had the weirdest bug while playing on some random server yesterday. It started with me getting two items at once after a round. The next round I got two or three more. Then it just kept going. I was practically spamming the chat with "found item X". I figured it'd have to be a bug, and logged off the server. Also, I didn't want to be accused of cheating or anything. Anyone seen anything similar? (The only interesting stuff I got was the silly hat for pyro and the medic weapons. No sniper's bow for me)

Very nice, I think I'll have to give Reaper another go! I had some trouble getting used to the previous version, so I went back to Cubase after trying it.
