  1. Those of you who were expecting a new version were apparently right http://www.native-instruments.com/#/en/products/producer/komplete-6/?page=980&utm_source=komplete6&utm_medium=newsletter&utm_campaign=komplete6_newsletter Komplete 6, $599. I was preparing to upgrade my Guitar Rig 2 to version 3, maybe I can actually skip that.
  2. Mine came in yesterday as well. Great job with the album, I'm really enjoying it
  3. Yeah, feedback is important.. The idea of a listening party could do something for that, otherwise I suppose some kind of review system might work as well? Or, possibly (although that might not be technically possible.. yet?) an option to comment directly on the tracks on Compo:ThaSauce?
  4. Hm, I wish I had the international edition. I loathe the voices in the English version. Jecht, Auron and Wakka are alright though (although the scripted dialogue is still awkward at times). I enjoyed the FFX soundtrack myself. Not as many memorable tracks as earlier games perhaps, but tracks like the Besaid Theme and To Zanarkand stand out. The general "feeling" of the soundtrack is great IMO. (On the other half of the spectrum, though, the regular battle music is just grating.)
  5. So, this was fun. What happens now though? (I'm thinking of the "more details coming soon" from the title)
  6. I'd forgotten what this tune was like. Listening to your mix brings it all back though. I think this is absolutely beautiful, please keep at it! This mix deserves to be finished
  7. I tend to play OCR mixes at work, nobody's recognized it yet though.
  8. We might as well just perpare for a year or two to be sucked out of our lives.
  9. Are you sure you put them in the right folder? And if you had the program open, rescanned the library or just restarted it?
  10. When I tested the demo of B4, I got a very Deep Purple-ish (and very nice overall) lead out of it by running it through Guitar Rig. I guess you do need some good effect plugins for it to sound right though. A simple DS-1 emulator might not do the trick.
  11. Luckily it seems they've figured out that the PlayOnline system sucked. I'm sure they must have seen how other games utilize simple web-interfaces that are *gasp* user friendly!
  12. When can we submit the finished tracks? I think mine is pretty much done now.
  13. If you cancel your account, then I think you'll have to buy a new game to get another one. I'm not completely certain about that, but I seem to remember that being an issue for some. However, if you only cancel your current subscription then everything's fine. I recently gave it another shot after 4 years of not playing, and my only problem was remembering the password.
  14. Hm, I'm not sure if I like the new race and place names, but I hope most will grow on me. The lala-taru-thing, though? I hope the game will play smoothly.
  15. Time to complete my track. I think it'll turn out pretty good. Out of curiosity, who requested the Asterix/Egypt track?
  16. This track feels grand, and I can easily imagine this playing in some epic movie scene like Helm's Deep as mentioned in the writeup. I didn't really recognize the track until about halfway though, and I could't make out which track was covered from the writeup. I've never been able to let FFXI go completely. I really loved that game (or game world), despite its several flaws.
  17. Quite often. Every time I have a "gaming binge", really. When it comes to FPSes, I tend to get used to that way of moving, so walking around normally ends up feeling weird. Most recently I'd been playing Prototype alot. That naturally led to me sizing every building up, and looking for vertical "shortcuts" when walking around in town. Most bizzare. At least I didn't grow claws or toss cars around. I still do that occasionally. I travel between my hometown and the town I study in alot, and that's a 2 hour bus ride, so I guess that's one way to stay awake. I've done that for as long as I can remember though.
  18. About time this got posted here This is really a beautiful mixture of orchestra and metal. Everything has a place in the mix, and everything fits! The quality of this mix really made it stand out when it first appeared in DoD.
  19. Then I can finally rest easy. I wanted it, but couldn't afford it. Now I can't have it at all.
  20. Oh yeah! Finally The album art in the zip file, is that the same as that in the torrent? Oh, and did I mention that the site is beautiful? What's with the icons at the bottom btw?
  21. Well, Virt had a version of Dancing Mad (here) at least. I'm not sure if that's the one you're thinking of though. Edit: Ailsean did the guitars on it, so the correct link for that version might be this one.
  22. Wow, twilight zone.. I've had the same idea, that is to use the stage select and warp it into Zone A. I think there's alot of good ideas here, which I'm sure you'll be able to expand upon further.
  23. Wow. This must really be the heaviest, darkest track on OCR yet. Really great work, Kadmium, I'm blown away! The spoken part sounded.. demonic? Wonderful use of effects. Did you write it yourself, or is it quoted from somewhere?
