The rule about "no favorite" threads is ridiculous because anyone who is invested enough in their own personal taste in music to flame someone else over it deserves to get banned from the internet and then run over by a lawnmower until they die.

I hate sports, but I'm watching the Olympics. I understand not watching, though. I didn't see the opening ceremony, though. What's the point?

Animation project - SMB - Bowzer's Revenge
Hausdog replied to electric concerto's topic in Recruit & Collaborate!
I promise nothing, but I'd like to stretch my fiction-writing wings a little here. How long do you want the entire series of animations to be in terms of number of videos and minutes per video? By the way, it's "Bowser" with an S. Don't want this thing to turn out great only to have it passed over as not serious because the title is misspelled. -

Well, our church choir is a bunch of people who don't sing all that well mixed with some pop idol wannabes and this one guy who is convinced he has the best voice ever even though it's all nasally and crap but tons of other people like it so what do I know. So... I'm not really a "choir singer," but my voice has a pretty natural tone (as in its natural tone is pretty) so I can sound good as pat of a group too.

I think I've got a really nice voice, so count me in!

Seriously, it's the most disturbing game I've ever played. Maybe it's just because I was aware of the ending before I started it up again for the bazillionth time, but it's... damn. The last little piece of the game is simply trippy, even when compared to the rest of the game. Ness goes into a coma and destroys his evil side and then goes back into the past to fight the (then fetal) Giygas inside a vagina. It's extremely creepy, but it works. I saw a still of the final battle, and I was all "pfft, if it's just a red swirling thing, anyone can find any frame and turn it into something." But then I actually did it myself and was all... damn. Even the "happy" places in the game are just... off. I was so emotionally drained, but I could appreciate it being OMGAWESOME because it definitely had artistic merit. Wow this is dumb sorry

You could try ReMixing, that's where the technical people go.

We're outside the city limits so the burn ban doesn't apply to us. And even if it did, we have a blasphemously rich neighbor who blows a huge amount of money on fireworks every year and hires profession pyrotechnicians and gets permits from the city and all that. He shoots them off of the baseball field in his back yard and has the fire department parked outside in case anything explodes.

Wow, Master Roshi I mean Yoshi. You're a liar or the seller is dumb or OBSCENELY nice or desperate (my blasphemously rich uncle will decline me my bazillion-dollar estate if he sees these old occult-esque games!) I'm reminded of the Simpsons episode in which that one mother brings the box of Star Wars memorabilia to Comic Book Guy and he nerdgasms all over it but promptly cleans up the mess and asks for 5 dollars. $.75 for Cool Boarders 3. It's a great game, but mostly because my brother and I laugh at its so-bad-it's-goodness. "Who will ShmOKE the competition!" Yes. This mysterious "Who" person most certainly will.

http://www.msnbc.msn.com/ I mean... well, I don't know what I mean. I shouldn't be all that surprised, but it still sucks. At least he had quite a run, right?

I suck at violin, but I've been playing it since I was 4. And then I stopped. Then I picked it up again at 11 for the string ensemble at school. Then I stopped and never looked back.
-
I know, it doesn't really "do that" but every few times I restart, it decides "I'm going to accept signals from the internet today!" And it really sucks because it only does it after like a good night's sleep or something. So... halp?

I've heard that programs exist but they suck. I never heard any names of programs, though.

Banjo is Back! "Nuts and Bolts" detailed!
Hausdog replied to SwordBreaker's topic in General Discussion
This is Banjo-Karzooie. I'm gonna buy it, fo' sheezy, but I'm worried it's not gonna be as good as Kazooie or even Tooie. -
OverClocked ReMix Design ?'s and Issues
Hausdog replied to Liontamer's topic in Site Issues & Feedback
Thanks! I'm glad I'm not the only one who types in long URLs. I even do it for boards.gamefaqs.com/gfaqs/genmessage.php?board=8 and other things. The trail of links is just too long. -
OverClocked ReMix Design ?'s and Issues
Hausdog replied to Liontamer's topic in Site Issues & Feedback
During my first days here, I was typing ocremix.org/forum in the address bar. It's a lot easier to type 6 or 7 extra characters than to go the community drop-down menu THEN wait for it to drop THEN going to the forums subsection THEN waiting for everything to open up THEN click index(all). -
OverClocked ReMix Design ?'s and Issues
Hausdog replied to Liontamer's topic in Site Issues & Feedback
This is one of the only sites on the internet that uses /forums instead of /forum and it's confusing to some people. I know I was confused for a while. I wouldn't ask you to do anything that was more than a five-minute job, and a redirect page is just a couple lines of code, right? -
I remember that one where they had them face off in a Light Tsugaru Battle! And the guy who won was all "Yeah, I wish it were on like Standard or Heavy" and I was all "whoa this guys a BAMF" until I realized that DDR was really easy.

Voice acting would be one of the most awesome careers ever. "What do you do?" "Have you ever seen *show*?" "Yeah..." "I'm *character*" AWESOME, right? Some of my favorites are Cree Summer, Richard Horvitz (Zim, Billy, the robot from Power Rangers), and basically everyone from The Simpsons.
