o_O May the Triforce be with you...

What are you looking for in this game to make you happy? (not trying to start a fight here, i'm seriously asking.) Seriously, I think Nintendo paid attention to everything that was good and yes, bad, in the Legend of Zelda series and did what they could to make it the best in the series. No, it's not perfect, but when you look at the LOZ fanbase, we have a history of bitching about a new release, picking it apart, and then five years later finally catching up with Nintendo and saying "hey, this was actually pretty good." *coughWindWakercough* I think there's nice touches that bring back memories of very specific games. Link to the Past, Ocarina of Time, Wind Waker...hell, even Twilight Princess and some of the handhelds. I truly do believe that Nintendo tried to please us this time, and remind us that we've had wonderful times with this series. This is a good 25th anniversary gift. @Hylian Lemon, are you gonna go for the new game+ feature?

you're...kind of missing half of the fun, if you emulate it though. The controls are WAY better than the Wii version of Twilight Princess. Wii Motion + is really useful and tastefully implemented.

I've been playing my copy pretty much all day and only just now gotten to the second land point (Fire Temple area). Gamestop is selling a collector's edition guide, which is a hard cover with a fabric world map inside, for those who are interested. I find myself thoroughly enjoying the gameplay, the story, the new controls and the overhauled mechanics. I'm in love with Link and Zelda's designs and can't wait to see what they do with the story. The music is beautiful, and I find myself comparing the dungeon that I played to what I'd seen of Wind Waker already. Is it just me, or did those seem short? Once you get the idea of the temples down, it seems pretty straightforward. Keep in mind, i haven't been to the Fire Temple yet. Loved the first boss fight, even if his introduction *was* creepy.

I personally think The Legend of Zelda does well *without* voice acting. I mean, come on. Who is going to be Link, when he's never said anything but 'HYAT HUGHH AAAAAAAAAAAAUGH" before? How is he supposed to sound? His adult form is still barely out of puberty, he's always depicted as around 17-20 years old. His kid form is anywhere from 7-10 years old. Seriously, and you want a voice actor?

The trouble is, it's so sweet and makes me cry, but I can't understand the lyrics. Google only helped me find the words directly from the song: Lalalala... Those who preordered are going to get an orchestrated soundtrack for Legend of Zelda too. I can't remember what game. Probably OOT. The Golden Wiimote will most likely be a bundle with the game. I don't know if it will be attatched to a preorder, but I've been actually wanting to get WM+. *shrug* Also, with the Golden Wiimote, I'll finally be able to round out my wiimotes to a total of four and justify getting a new set of rechargeable batteries for them. As a sidethought, doesn't SS require the use of a nunchuck too? Will they make a matching gold nunchuck to go with the Golden Wiimote? Food for thought...

The game in question is called Yoshi's Story. Cute game, if INCREDIBLY short and simple. I've fallen in love with Insert Rupee all over again. I love Yoshi's Island as a game, and the music is to die for. WHY AREN'T THERE MORE REMIXES, PEOPLE?!
