We're likely not going with 7/7 due to needing some additional time to finalize things (not only djp's track), but this one's definitely up next and my current focus. Soooooon(-ish) is definitely the deal, so we're calling it Summer 2015. Be prepared for it!

This is one of my favorite Mario remixes.  I created an account just so I could post here that I heard this remix playing in the Halloween area of Holiday World last weekend It brought back some good memories.

Neo-Soul is great - I use that + AAS Lounge Lizard.

For 2002, this is actually pretty good! I liked it! One of your better old ones IMO. This is very listenable, even today. Cool e. piano sound! I wonder if you've tried the jRhodes3 soundfont yet; that's my favorite free e. piano sample, and probably the best free one you can get in terms of round robins and tone (otherwise I just use my synthesized e. pianos, or I whip out Neo-Soul Keys).

I recently chanced upon a long-lost WIP we worked on and I think it might be the most beautiful thing I've ever stained.

Generally speaking, art & logo are far more important than website. I can do website fairly easily if art & logo are provided. This is what I've done for the last few albums (FF2, GB25, Seven Songs, Sonic CD, TMNT, etc.) I'd be using the Bootstrap-based template we've been using, which also uses PHP & the Twig templating system - the entire FF2 site is available at https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/4718466/rebellion.7z Template is responsive, single-page, and relatively easy to navigate & flexible Other things we can use help with regarding the website: Getting tracks comments and artist info together Data entry of tracks & track comments (using track_comments.php in template) Data entry of artist info (using artists.php in template) Biggest question in my book - is this a site JUST for VV3, or for the entire trilogy? If VV1 & VV2 are being presented, to what extent? How far along are art assets?

To be completely honest, we haven't had amazing luck delegating project website design... there have been some exceptions, such as the rather snappy Maverick Rising & Humans + Gears sites, but we've generally found that we end up needing to step in at the last minute anyways to bring the site design & presentation up to the same standards as the music.
 
Our newer approach is to have project directors and staff do as much of the data entry and asset collection as possible, and we'll take it from there, which usually means *I'll* take it from there, using our one page template... while this is extra work for me, I can do this specific type of work relatively quickly... I've generally been happy with the results, at least, as I feel that FF2, Seven Songs, Sonic CD, TMNT, GB25, etc. have all turned out pretty well & helped show the amazing music in the best light possible. People DO judge books by covers, even when told not to, and I feel like we owe it to the musicians involved to polish things up to a certain level.
 
As SOON as the final art & covers are done, the main task is to see which of them could possibly be used for a masthead/background that a website can be themed around. Again, this approach has worked pretty well, and I don't mind doing it... but we definitely need help with the data entry & QA on assets, and I need to know as soon as the art is done in case there's a problem with none of it being suitable for re-purposing/usage on the site, which can sometimes be an issue (usually we can be creative with cropping/vignettes/layers and MAKE things work, but it's never a guarantee!)... hopefully this all makes sense, lemme know if there are question.

This is great - I love the melancholic, dreamy atmosphere here. The airy spoken vocals are spot-on as well.

On 6/15/15, I had my second child and first son. His name is Phoenix Anthony Rohan Peery. He is 21 inches tall and 11 pounds, 8 ounces (11.5). Back in 2013, I had my first child, a daughter named Midori Lyon Peery. She was 21 inches tall as well, but 9 pounds, 3 ounces in weight.

Composers aren't always the best folks to remix/arrange their own stuff, and I actually think there are many artists here who'd do a great job. That being said, if they hire Uematsu, I certainly wouldn't complain or have any doubts that he would knock it out of the park.

I certainly enjoyed it. Twice. I personally didn't find my enjoyment dampened by taking a minute or two to think about what I saw...
 
It's a discussion topic. For discussion, see... If you want to argue that the symbolism & themes aren't there, or that they are being misinterpreted, go for it. If you want to make a blanket statement that no films should ever be analyzed, ever, you can do that as well.
 
However, it's a little obnoxious to be all frustrated & exasperated and act borderline persecuted just because someone else disagrees and/or actually wants to discuss the film. On a discussion thread. For the film. Eh? If not here, where?

With OCR around, I hardly ever feel the need to buy music.  I pre-ordered History Repeating.  Money damn well spent.  Their lyrics are cheesy but often clever, their arrangements are a lot of fun, and their playing is fantastic (listen closely to the guitar solo in Annihilation of Monsteropolis--most guitarists just sort of smush their fingers all over the strings at that part, but they hit every note.  I finally understood "hammer-on/pull-off" outside of Guitar Hero once I saw this live).
 
If only they'd write faster.. I believe they all have full-time non-music jobs, so I get it, but man it's hard to wait years between each of their albums.

Guys, what is the holdup on getting me the WAVs? If someone's hard drive goes, the album is gone...

So Rozo or Meteo, whoever has the WAVs, give me the WAVs. Hook me up!

What just happened to me?!? Oh my heavens. Even those who can't handle total crazy - and trust me, my eyebrows almost raised off my head at the first 30 seconds - need to listen to 1:00 through 2:30 AT MINIMUM, particularly the breakdowns starting around 2:00 - these are some really talented interpretations of the source. Of course, the piece, as a whole, is completely dunked in a frying vat of insanity, but even that can't totally hide the talent underneath. I'm not sure I can recommend this - but man, you should at least give it a try.
