  1. Just a quick thing I wanted to point out. On the album's page, Jivemaster is missing from the remixer list. As a big fan of Jive, I just wanted to make sure this got fixed soon. As for the album, I can hear how vastly different it is from any other OCR album, even BotA. You can tell that the tracks on HD Remix are meant to be the background music as opposed to being the main focus. Not that this is bad at all, in fact, my brother and I just played Dr. Mario with the in game music turned off and the HD Remix soundtrack playing. Oddly enough, it worked just fine. Another excellent album from OCR!
  2. Just when I think this Rickrolling fad is over, something happens that just makes it more and more awesome. It gets played in a stadium, it gets sung in a subway station, it gets chanted at a Scientology protest, and now it's sung at the Thanksgiving Parade by the actual artist. Amazing.
  3. They did that already. It was called Mario & Sonic At The Olympic Games.
  4. Nope, this is totally a feature length deal.
  5. So I actually did get around to watching this trailer, and you know what? I like it. For being a fanmade film, it actually looks better and truer to the source material than even the big budget Hollywood films. I'll be looking forward to seeing when it comes out.
  6. Good news, everyone! Txai has sent me his first WIP of Team India, and he is now on the project! Just three more tracks are left for the taking on the album! We're actually getting really close now...
  7. Diamond Man, the robot who shoots diamond missiles that explode into four diamonds.
  8. Burn it to a CD, break up/grind the CD, brew the CD, drink the CD. CD Tea.
  9. My favorites would have to be either 1942 on the NES or the underrated Tiger-Heli, also on NES.
  10. *shrugs* I started this project when I started college. At the time, I had no idea of just how much of my time college would eat up. I refuse to just cancel it because that would be insulting to the people who donated their time to the project.
  11. No lie, I was listening to The Ken Song just this morning. Good to hear you're still out there making music.
  12. Not really, but I just can't pass up a good snarky comment.
  13. It's been three months. I have yet to hear any radicalness from you. WASSUPWITDAT?
  14. Oh? I thought you guys were waiting until Mustin and the Bad Dudes released a Tales album out of nowhere and totally deflate this one.
  15. I don't know, I've been looking for them myself. I found the group's myspace page, but I didn't find anything there (except more catchy songs ).
  16. Despite it being almost entirely a straight cover, I like Big Head Mode's version of Mystic Cave Zone on this album, mostly because I'm a huge fan of the original, and this version really adds some power to it. My other favorites are the cover of Billie Jean, the ToeJam & Earl rap (great intro), and the "Sonic" track, which is nearly 8 minutes of awesome. I like the "Labyrinth Zone" song too, even though it's not a remix of the Labyrinth Zone music at all.
  17. At least I didn't ask for any help online...
  18. Wily 3's boss is simple once you realize that there's a strict pattern to the flying chunks (and find the right weapon, too.) I've finished the game, but I also muscled my way through with a completely full inventory from the item shop. Now I work on patterns and speedruns.
  19. So that's why djp's so musically prolific...
  20. Here's a video of the song creation mode in the upcoming Guitar Hero: World Tour. Now, I don't know anything from music making, but this looks to be a very, very robust and fleshed out music creator. To the remixers and other artists around here, what do you think? Personally, I think that OCR just may have a huge showing on the GH community when this game is released.
  21. It's kinda funny to me. I read the first page of the thread and the last page of the thread, and I really feel that I didn't miss anything in the middle. Anywho, these samples are pretty decent. Anything recorded with live instruments is a big plus with me (not that I'm knocking the people with sequencing programs or anything. The last thing I wanna do is ignite the next seven pages with a live vs. reason/FL debate.)
  22. Holy moley, we may just be able to blow the lid of that theory.
  23. This is a post bump I'm making a note here SOMEONE POST!
  24. I don't remember if it was before or after that, but they also tried to defend Big The Cat's levels in SA. Then there was a lame trivia contest, and that was it. For my first panel of the con, and especially for a series that I'm a huge fan of, it was a big letdown. What wasn't a letdown, though, was the medley video. Thanks for posting it, Jose!
  25. When they said it was their first panel, they weren't kidding. They didn't even have a damn powerpoint. Someone asked about the music, and their response boiled down to "Yeah, it's awesome. Let's talk about how hot Rouge is again!" They spent zero time to talk about the cartoons or the comic book, with annoyed me, too. Interestingly enough, I did win a prize in that panel's trivia contest. I was the guy who was dressed as Mario with a Hawaiian shirt and sunglasses that nobody else got. But hey, did anyone go to the "Your Favorite Video Game Character Sucks" panel? I thought those two guys were really funny.
