Hey, any crits on how I handled the vocals while they are still fresh in my head? Signal chains went Compression, Saturation, Mono Delay, EQ, for the lyrics. Screams and Growls were Compression, harder saturation, wide reverb and EQ. The growls/screams had a slight dip around 4k or so they could stay behind the lyrics during the overlaps. All were HPF'ed at around 250 hz and sent to a mix reverb aux at -25db.

Hey, thanks for listening. I have no problem waiting if you wanted to contribute. I'll work on the transcription but in the meantime did you have any tips on getting those guitars to sound better? I was hoping to get Ministry of Rock for a couple years then when I finally get my hands on it no one has anything good to say about it even though reviews were very positive. (well nothing good to say about what I have done with it at least:) )

I get that alot. Really. People tend to think i'm either Swedish, Irish, Bavarian, Finnish or whatever but I just talk kind of funny for an upstate New Yorker. Most people think of New Yorkers as having a Long Island or NYC accent but nope. not me. Though I just wish more, you know, women brought this to my attention, that a few sentences I said to them stayed in their minds for half a year.

I use Sonar 8 currently.

I was back and forth like crazy, one minute things were too loud then after a rest they seemed too quiet. Took forever to settle on it. Where would you normally cut growls? I couldn't find the information anywhere. Some obvious edits aside I thought they turned out better than the rest of the remix.

I'd like to take a look at the guide to remixing you are working on. I don't have AIM (nor do I want to get it anymore, last time it loaded up tons of garbage on my comp) but if you could pm a link i'd appreciate it.

I'm in the same boat with DoD. I really want to finish what i have planned but so far it hasn't been sounding too good. Good luck if you end up competing.

I've got just over three minutes of the outline done. Aiming for around 5 minutes which should be pretty easy to hit. How's your week next week? Not too many people are asking to collab are they?
