  1. Six Dodge Balls was rejected and Lost My Balls was never submitted because that song was about 6 years old at the time the project came out. Robbie did try to revisit it but couldn't get much out of it, and had no interest in submitting a track that old. Almost Frozen will probably be the last track from the album released on OCR.
  2. If I manage to figure out a way to call TMNT4 a Final Fantasy album, will you make printing that a stretch goal too?
  3. Yeah, pretty much back up to where they were before the first Kickstarter was taken down, and then some. I was a little concerned that some of the momentum would be lost after the morale drain from the first round, but obviously I had nothing to worry about!
  4. This is assuming you can find 30 remixers that are interested in arranging Tales music, AND willing to do it very quickly. It doesn't matter how good the music is if nobody is interested enough in remixing it. Remember, I spent over 4 years trying to get 50 songs from Tales games remixed. These days, with so many other projects for much more popular games vying for attention and remixers, I don't know if it would even be possible to pull off. For example: Dragon Quest is another example of a series that is well-liked and known for its excellent music, but the Dragon Quest 1-3 project has been stalled almost from the get-go because it has been very difficult to find remixers for a project that covers something that's not all that popular in the west. By the way: Dave announced in the newest write-up that the torrent update would be coming in the next two weeks. There is a caveat, however: he didn't say which date the next two weeks would be from, so I'm sure it's still slated for two weeks from some date in 2016.
  5. Both these and more are covered on Brian Davis' In Memory of The Mega Drive album: http://briandavis.bandcamp.com/ There's also this, which is kind of rough but still pretty fun: http://www.dwellingofduels.net/dodarchive/05-0910-Free_Month/20-Lizard-Rocket%20Knight%20Adventures-Rocket%20Fuel-DoD.mp3
  6. There's pretty much a whole project's worth of Final Fantasy VI remixes on the site alone, but OCR just made $80,000 for an FF6 project, so clearly the people can't get enough. Personally, I'd be cool if Slam Shuffle was remixed more often. That's the only song from the game that hasn't been remixed for OCR that's worth a damn. Most everything else is overrated, overdone, or boring.
  7. Wish I could help out all these awesome Kickstarters. If you're able to, this definitely one you should support.
  8. You should add another stretch goal where you'll print all the rest of the albums that didn't get a physical release. Or at least SoS and ATW. Because I'm vain and self-centered like that.
  9. In before dramarama. Seriously though, good work Dave and crew on negotiating with Square-Enix, and thank you Square-Enix for not shutting down OCR and the rest of the game arrangement community. YOU DA BEST!
  10. Silver's Saturday Show is the best show. You should lissen!
  11. Or you could just buy one of these, which I always see around here for $1: Slap the fake ribs between some bread and you'll have an instant homemade McRib. I really doubt the meat they use for the real ones is of any better quality, anyway.
  12. This album is totally a hoax, just like all of the other ones.
  13. The OCReMix version is much older, and Brent recorded it on his own at home. The 'Bits of Me' version was recorded well after this was posted and I presume it was done in a studio.
  14. Well, I wish I could swoop into this thread with links to a dozen otherwise overlooked remixes like I usually do, but sadly, Splatterhouse has literally gotten no love aside from virt's TERRORMASK, which is... interesting, but definitely NOT what you're looking for. Hell, the new Splatterhouse remake has more remixes than the old-school version. I would definitely like to hear more proper remixes of the original Splatterhouse. Someone needs to take this stuff on!
  15. Well, obviously things have slowed down with this project in the last couple months. Unfortunately I ran into a few bumps along the path of life and haven't been dedicating as much time to this as I'd like. There was also a pretty big setback in the loss of two tracks from Do A Barrel Roll, but luckily they will still be contributing a great live arrangement of Technodrome: The Final Shell Shock. In their place, the lovable SnappleMan has picked up Neon Night Riders, as well as cutting a deal with Sixto to take on Star Base (Sixto may still have some involvement with it, but we'll see.) I am very happy to have Snap on board and am looking forward to getting restarted on pushing this project toward completion!
  16. Yo dawgs, you should check out this EP. It goes by quick but it's worth every minute. Mokram, you are a gentleman and a scholar for putting this together. As evktalo said, there are a lot of games covered that don't get much love elsewhere, so be sure to check this out to hear something new!
  17. He came on in April after Joshua Morse sadly decided to drop out. I'd been in contact with him not long after I started the project, though, so I'd had him pegged for a long while.
  18. Haha, finbeard's name on the main tracklist is "finbread."
  19. The rest of the stuff in the gallery on the MMKB page for her is official art, at least. It's interesting to note that there seem to be a few pieces out there of Nana that look very close to the official stuff, like this one by Liline. I don't think it's a big deal, as I like the idea of some crossover between the fan art and the fan remix community, which is something djp was discussing in terms of the site mascots. Proper artist credit should be in order, though. Ouch, I just noticed that MMKB removed the artist signature by Nana's leg from the original piece. That's a big no-no.
