  1. Thats funny to edit my own request after year. In case someone had interest. This game is OVER HORIZON: composer Masaharu Iwata entire OST: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qZvviDUSczA I have a good memory8-O ----------------------------------------------------- Hello! I have a problem. I can't remember NES's game name(it was japanese actually and I was 7-8 years old). It was like Gradius, Thunder Force, Life Force etc. The only thing i remember is this melody: Also at the and of that stage there was a Spider(like) robot or something and I think it was white:whatevaa: I know it's almost imposable with this sort of information, but if someone remember.. Pleas tell me the name of this NES game! Thank you!! Sorry for my english.
  2. Very very interesting! Loving it! But it sounds like off-vocal stuff. Some emptiness haunting me all over the track. Vocal!! Not lead guitar or bass solo. Vocal! I don't think that splash need to be wider or something, but pan it to right or left will be nice) Just imo! One question.. Dude, why you put all of your guitars at center? @SoundBoard: It's not the tone or Eq. He has a awesome tone and freqs choice. Problem is "mono'ing"
  3. Keep going with it! Definitely! And start with drums. I'm not strong in dubstep stuff, but i have a feeling that it must be some kind "ragged" snare or just little more aggressive in attack and mids sustain. It could be personal. I really enjoy this track! A bit louder and it'll fuck ya brains out! Nice!
  4. Reminds me "Winning Screen" of whatever Japanese fighting) Kinda cool synth, which sounds so familiar(kof). I like this bass freq, deep, soft and pleasant for ears. Kick's bass, bass synth -- cooool dude! The only thing I don't like is guitar tone(thin.. kinda). If you use classic freq cut(50-60Hz) in parametric EQ , then you can up in graphic EQ 70-250Hz(or 50-300hz) range to make your tone heavier. Try it sometime if you want. Also you may want to mess with 1-4khz range or somewhere around 800Hz. But after all, your tone fists to "winning screen" and aside of synth, exactly this tone reminds about fighting. Sorry for my english, just in case. Cool thing dude!!
  5. Thats amazing! Good to know! I never thought about transformer isolation before.
  6. Dude I joined OCR almost same time with you, I had Athlon 855hz, 256mb ram. I used windows's sound drivers and mic-in of mine comp. Yes I had some vsts and electric guitar. And with this kind of stuff I joined to one of the OCR's projects. I'd noticed that any thing I do sounds sucks, anyone can do better. Now I have better stuff to work with, but nothing changed. I still think I'm doing worse then others. Whatever you are doing, no matter how good or bad it will be. Thou shalt strive for the best. IMO. Btw, your mixes sounds cool)
  7. Sorry:D I should guess about STRINGS!
  8. Thank you! again:-D I think this one still takes NO, but I already submitted it:tomatoface:
  9. Thanks! Drums supposed to have more creativity, but I was to lazy. Will be fixed!!! Leads.. well.. I'll try.. Yeah. Guitar-electronic stuff is kinda difficult. Thanks again! I'll be back to it! Someday.. fcking leads.
  10. Lot of thanks! The only thing I kinda don't get is: Strings? "Stringy" Synth? Offtimed at timed? Man I'm not so good in english to understand that) Or maybe i'm just dumb:< As I understand, synths is out of tune. Correct me plz! Cause I don't hear any out of tune. Low attack, cause it? Somebody help plz! So as I
  11. Thanks for feedback man! I agree about guitars. I'm still thinking HOW should I play here. Same shit with production. Thanks again! As for the addictive's snare.. I used here a combination of acoustic and electronic drums. That over-compression you hear, is electronic snare, probable. I used distortion on them. Also, addictive drums has 4 snares(or 5), which sounds EXACTLY as originals, believe me:-D Each of them has OWN sound. If you hear overcompression or other things that you dislike, then it's MY work. I love that snare:< The matter of taste, i suppose.
  12. Hello! Another attempt to do something interesting. source: I have a bad feeling about bass-line. Also guitars at 0:44 sounds kinda.. bad? Any constructive feedback will be awesome! Negatives and positives are MORE THEN WELCOME!! Good day/night or whatever!
  13. Thanks for remind me about this "song" guys!
  14. Looks like it pointless:< You hopeless. Good luck anyway:-D
  15. Ha-ha:-D Now you know how I started:<
  16. First, DragonAvenger is SHE) As for specifics. Opinion? Agreed. But I heard only "effected" rhythm panned. If you don't want reverb on drums, good, but then find better samples or mess with attack, sustain, compressor or dist. Cause drums sounds like cheaptune. I told you, I can't listen to your mix again. Soundclous is not for my browser. My remix http://ocremix.org/forums/showthread.php?t=35750 Just a bit of EQ'ing, correct balancing and compression. Still has some issues, which I'll fix before sub. And still it takes NO, i suppose. Because of source usage. Man, I'm sorry that i've touched your pride, but this mix still far from YES.
  17. Hm.. Dude.. It seems that you don't read what ppl says. Ha-ha Most stupid thing I ever heard. Agreed! But.. And then.. So? What does it mean?
  18. Bass guitar sounds kinda out of tune, perhaps that detune effect cause it. Not a big deal if you pan your main guitar track to left and right or maybe even to right. But then you'll need something in left channel. Also all over the mix main rhythm guitar don't moving anywhere, it kinda bothering listener's ears. Just imo. Drums.. I do like your programming style, it could be interesting, if you make some reverb or maybe even delay to Toms(at the very beginning of the mix). Then, your kick sounds mechanical(as and snare). It could work if you used deep electronic Kick with hard attack. Use some velocity to drums to give em more charm. Then I remember some interesting effect to rhythm guitar somewhere near the end. Nice. But in combination with main rhythm your mix becomes too muddy. Some balancing, EQ'ing and compression and your mix will be nice. I can say more specifically, but i don't have your mix in a hand, cause my browser hates soundcloud(so as I). This what I remember. Overall, KEEP WORKING MAN! You'll improve your skills in a few months staying here. Don't accuse professionals in your own weakness. And don't think you are the best musician ever! Cause you NOT! Sorry. Best of good man!! If you want someone to help you, don't be shy. This is the main goal of this community!
  19. Man, I never heard Black Sabbath and even I say NO to this remix. Sorry. Production is the main problem you have here. I love that pizzicato string in intro. But rest of your mix sounds obviously cheap. And BTW! It is boring to)
  20. Голлгагх? Interesting..

  21. Mostly your tone in a record, depends of DRUMS!! Not just bass and big amount of guitars. Actually you can have a cheap tone but great drums and real bass guitar and your mix will be great, even with ONE rhythm guitar. There are two types of tones(in my case): 1- Sounds SUCKS alone, Great in the mix(2-4 of 10 mids at amp and distortion pedal, max bas at distortion pedal, 3-5 of 10 amp's bass, 2-3 amp's gain, Max VR Gain) 2- Sounds great alone, bad in the mix(around max bass, scoop mids, up highs) Also don't forget about presence. Your tone is nice. All you need is better balance your mix and have fun with EQ] And don't even try to copy tone. You'll be very close but still tooo far. And symphony x's tone sounds like Line 6 P.O.D. P.S. Hope you can translate what I just said:tomatoface:
  22. I broke my stereo:mrgreen: But if you do that, I'll fix it!
  23. Well.. Looks like I'm in.. It seems it becomes a habit. It's your fault Rozo!!
