Hello! Here I am! Again.. This mix was on the Judges Panel and NO, was an answer. But awesome judges said RESUBMIT! Now Im gonna try to resub this mix! Little update: I made some balance changes, some EQ'ing and changed synth lead at the beginning of mix. I have doubts about 1:30 lead guitar(loudness) and same for led synth at the very beginning. Also probably I have to redone drums section completely, because of "overcompression". Your thoughts ppl? Appreciate anything YOU say! Source:

Clowfinger - Nigger

This is ..... Beautiful! Ambient, pads, that Beautiful Voice(voice?). I love this "voice"! No matter what or who is it! Drums perfectly supports music line. Just beautiful.. Not sure about pan kick(or bass?). First minute that kick kinda bothers me(because of pan i suppose). But then, I was completely obsessed with this voice and pads! So I'm not sure. And you could, maybe, boost bass line(I heard it somewhere around intro) to see whats happen. Mastering in right place imo, try boost bass and it's done! And that kick.. Not sure. P.S. I'm gonna rerecord rhythm guitars to change some parts, record bass guitar(just in case) and then, send rar to you with all materials I have(is 4share works to you well?). Around Wednesday I think, if I wont have any fuckness on a job:grin:

Thats better! Well.. Umm.. Cool! Some kinda retro thing. Everything sounds great, except "crowbell"-sounding thing, paned right. Also I have some doubts with sax sound. When your guitar comes in, She has some time issues, at least sounds like it has. After all pretty nice thing.. thing.. Not Remix.. Post your game remixes:mrgreen:

TinDeck.com As for the source.. Sounds familiar. Can you make a midi melody or sing it? Your whisting is poor, bad velocity control and some out of tune. Bad recording and arrangement is too empty. Your mix is too conservative. If I would be a jury, I would said NO.

Check your FL Studio for SAWER, PoiZone.. It doesn't exist If you play guitar.. Play guitar.

When I read the title of this thread, I was kinda angry. I thought you stole my remixer's name!! As for arrangement: Your drums in main theme's melody sounds out of rhythm sometimes (as if the drummer overslept, if you know what i mean). Agree about reverberation and delay comment. Also arrangement too short in creativity, which cause short time length, imo. As for production: Dude.. Don't use slayer. FL have lot off cool synthetic sounds. Don't use slayer! It sounds bad always, unless you not RoeTaka. Drums sections is poor. No velocity, not interesting drums/cymbals figure, no transitions, too repetitive. Overall you can do better. BTW.. It is not game's source..

Dunno what cause a delay. I had same shit when i started play. I used mic and reel tape recorder as amp) But I had no trouble with delay.

I can't say anything about guitar's sound quality, cause all of those effects hiding any quality issues, so I guess you did what you wanted. Effects are cool. But your guitar playing "broken" melody. Out of tune sometimes. Wrong notes. Fell free to use this stile of play, but keep the melody on, otherwise when you break off it, nothing but the bothering the ears it does not cause. But this is my opinion. When I read the title, I expected something epic, apocalyptic blow:mrgreen: But still I love those orchestra pieces!

You know, this could be pretty nice thing, unless.. Lot of timing issues in arrangement, terrible fake guitar and I hate this cymbals. Trumpet sounds bad, not real(believe me, I was a trumpet player). Maybe you tried to make some horror tune? If this true than I can understand some time issues, but "guitars".. You know this guitars too horrible for horror. Also you too aggressive when using ride's roll. It sounds bad. Little advice: listen to any rock, metal or whatever this kind. You will hear lot of interesting in drums section. And forget about fake guitars. Find yourself in some other vsti or buy guitar(BETTER)! I like organ and choir, btw.
