  1. Fuuuuuck!!!! Now I'm YOUR fan!! Amazing heavy synth at 0:50 and then.. Meow! Great mix!! Now I know what the hell is dubstep:grin: Awesome thing!
  2. Thanks!! But still NOT DAMN out of 10:mrgreen: My main complaint is rhythm guitars sound. They sounds muddy if i drop them little in volume. I forced them in this mix, but still something is wrong. Not clean, not strong and still muddy in mid-highs. Is that kick your ears or its just my ears? Hope you understand what i just said:D
  3. I use Addictive Drums and Amplitube 3 with JamVOX for my guitars. I'm not strong in english and sometimes I don't understand correctly what ppl mean saying "sick":D Well hope you like it Sonic) I still searching for "MY" sound. So this is another experiment. And actually this is the second attempt. First one was tooo overpowered in rhythm guitars, had cheap drums, but CRYING solo. Thank you guys! I take your words for my experiments Shadow)
  4. Two things about me: First, I love long trips in my car. Second, I love to fly on glider. Well.. Just to fly. Glider wasn't my when I took it.. three times.. So here's my original: http://official.fm/tracks/203211 I call this genre .. mm.. I don't know what is it. Any critics or advice about production are more then great! P.S. If someone want to download this mix just tell me.
  5. I never played that game. But I really like first film. As for the mix. Interesting melody(don't know the source). Strings sounds too "midish" to my ears, same as drums section. Also drums don't have any sense imo. You may try use some effects on them(distortion, filter effects or something), it can give em some "Resident Evil" atmosphere. Some parts of your mix sounds off-rhythm, hope you understand what I mean. Piano going in it's own way, different from other instruments. That could be interesting as idea, but it just bothering my ears. Overall I want to say that I like it! Some work and this mix will be great! P.S. Try http://tindeck.com/ or http://soundcloud.com/ for host your works. YouTube SUCKS! P.P.S. Read my sig!
  6. Not much changes to my ears(except I'm deaf:D). You added rhythm guitar to 1:01-1:28 part. But it didn't do what it should or/and could. Two rhythms.. I think. And you having now same problem as before with one of your previous mix(at the first stage). REVERB - too much, imo). Music somewhere "faraway" from listener(me). You said you can't get the guitar to cut like you want in this part. Then FORCE IT(2 rhythms and lead guitar) and force that LEAD synth! It will give some energy, beauty and dramatics to this part! I think.. NO. I'm sure! Or not.. Try same to 2:44 part. Cause I really like that rhythm. About the stutter effect. It maybe still have some issues, but now not for my ears. Vocals. What is that sound hits my head every time when voice come in, at 1:46 and 1:54? Nothing more I can say for now. Cause if you made some changes in mix's sound, you probably will hear what you can do with vocal's sound(balance, effects, bla..) Best of luck! I'm still flying from 3:25!) P.S. Hmm.. I guess I need to listen the source. P.P.S. Read my sig | | \
  7. Great game, great remix, AWESOME work! Loud and clear! Especially love guitars at 0:42! But maybe something wrong with my ears, cause all of guitars sounds fake. AWESOME! But fake. Probably I just can't believe that real guitar can sounds like in this mix) Amazing synth sound at 2:56 and 4:28!! Great work and great mix!
  8. What?! Sound Forge?! It was my first!! I want to hear it! Especially backing vocalist:) Edit: Thanks for the answer btw! I want to start sing:D
  9. Wow! Thats interesting. Even for me. I want to hear it with bass/guitars, drums and back vocals(female?). Not my style, but it's gonna be cool!! And I don't mind, if you tell me what do you use for record vocals. THX)
  10. Gentle and neat sound. Amazing mix. You need an intro imo. And outro may be. Can't say anything about arrangement, cause don't know the source. But when piano play coming front I hear some "cut-off" in pizzicato strings. The only issue to me, and don't know the source.
  11. First of all, I want to say: FUCK!! Amazing intro! Some EQ on synth(from 0:41) will be great. Then 1:01.. Supposed to be some attack imo. How about heavy guitars playing with that(0:41) rhythm synth? 1:27 effect.. too aggressive, too much. Sounds terrible, as Ramen said. Same from 5:23. Crazy tremolo sound. but idea is good. 1:46 when vocoder comes in something hit my brain. ultra-sound hit. Bad feeling. Vocoder effect is pretty interesting(sounds "femalelike" which is good) and quality. Sounds clear to me and good. What is it btw?) From 3:25.. FUCK!! I want to jump from the plane! AMAZING!! Beautiful!! Overall great, awesome work!! Some issues which you can easy to fix in balance, normalizing and EQ'ing! Waiting for update! I need to by parachute wing before your next update:mrgreen:
  12. Seraphim, production is kind "strange" to me. Don't get me wrong, but your track somewhere "far" from my ears. Reverb, normalize or mastering-balance problem imo. Bass-line awesome! I like sound and how it goes. But somewhere "far", as I said before. Guitars.. I don't hear any guitars here.. If you want to use fake guitars, you should listen Roe Taka's Metal Slug RMX. Drums, effects, arrangement - great! I don't know source.. Nice work! But if you want to claim something "METAL".. Make it powerful and realistic(loud - not necessary) or cheap-fake but loud and distorted. Good Luck!!
  13. Thank you guys for thoughts!! I appreciate it!! I made this WIP in hope to collab with "someone" from electronic stuff. Cause I'm not good in this. And I still waiting for the answer. But probably, I'll post request in collab forum or try to finish it by my self. Thanks again! I'll keep in mind your advices! Cause your thoughts confirm my doubts) Edit: I used here ME-80, Revolta(MMX) and Edirol Orchestra(2004). Stereoing bass-rhythm-line(wah'y sound) - Revolta. I think this is "not that great" Gario) My main problem. I like it's sound, but it sounds too crap)
  14. Hello! Another step closer to something new, something I was dream about:lol: Hard Corps rmx album my dream. Dunno how far I get from OC's standards, but I hope this mix can be submitted. Or no.. Any sort of feedback or critic or anything will be great! Enjoy! If you can) Source: Remix: http://official.fm/tracks/195514
  15. Thanks for translation) I wanted to ask about experience in using round or flat. I don't give a damn on style's rules. Just want to know, is there someone who tried different strings-type in different genres? Also I don't think that "Beach Boys" intro is flat wound's "visit card". But I guess you right. That was flat wounds . Cause, those strings was mostly used in that time. I think.. And I heard that flat wounds perfectly uses for "no-scales" bass. Wonder why? What can you tell about it? Some example will be great!!
  16. I'm using round(nickel, d-9). Cause flat strings hard to find in my town. Pleasant, soft but powerful sound, style universality, nice sustain and sells in any music store. Thats what I can to say about my(round) strings. The only thing I remember about flat's sound, its power and deep-long sustain. Last time I used those strings about 10 years ago, when I took dad's guitar and attempted to play.. was fun. So which and for what? Stiles, effects sounding.. well, anything You can say about different between Smooth and Rough strings for guitar. P.S. If I repeat old thread.. Sorry. If You don't understand what I'm saying.. Google translator-sucks.
  17. Last update. I think http://official.fm/tracks/193559 Source again: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MUq36...891BE920F571CF Some changes in instruments, synth-lead added, leading guitar added(sound reminds me "Rocked'N'Loaded" for some reason), mastering changes. Overall now mix sounds cleaner, better and.. different:dstrbd: Thanks for advice guys! still waiting for mod-review..
  18. I fixed some of issues and rerecorded some sections. Plus little changes in arrangement. Counting on Your opinion. Update: Source again: Thank You for your time! Happy New Year!!
  19. Hello!! Happy New Year and Marry Xmass!! This mix has lots of issues but arrangement is ready I think.. In first view too much reverb and may be compression. Then some bass guitar play issues. And at last I forgot to make fade-out effects in some places and of course mastering problems. I'm drunk.. This is my excuse:mrgreen: Here is the mix: And the source: Happy New Year and Xmas!! Again! And THANK YOU!! AWESOME holidays to You guys!!
  20. It sounds to me like half of the track is intro. You waiting for something.. Something hit your head and blow your mind or something. But nothing happens. Too long imo. As I said before, something is missing in this part of mix. Everything great in stereo(right, left), but expecting for something goes in center.. My opinion about drums in this part remains same. Now about climax. Don't get me wrong! But I don't hear drums section at all. And hi-hat in left channel drives me crazy in bad way unfortunately. Sounds like mad snake:-? Too much in highs and I don't feel any power in drums. This reverb makes your drums too far from AWESOME guitars. I'm as good in explanations, as in english.. Sorry. Try to force your drums and don't use reverb at all. Hear what happens and I think you will know what to do. Use some EQ on it (in mid-highs I think and try to force 1-2db in low). I think you'll understand that drums needs some power and light reverb in most cases.
  21. About intro: Nice electronics(what are you using??), but not interesting. It may be changed if you use here powerful synth drums with some velocity figure or distorted drums with same effect(which you have now) or something. You have nice imagination, so I think its not problem to you(made cool effect). Otherwise, its kind empty, some "far" effected guitar will be great to fill it. Everything I said is just in my opinion. Now solo goes!!! Awesome!! But drums.. I don't think this drum's reverb fists to your awesome lead. Too long, to fat, too much imo. Same with overdriven rhythm guitars to me. Sounds kind wrong to my ears. I think if you take your lead for basis to chose sound effect for rhythms and drums in this section, you find some more power and beautiful. Outro: AWESOME!! I've got nothing to say. P.S. Sorry for my english
