This album is still awesome. I freaking love it : D One of my favorite electronic albums on my playlist atm. I really hope I can one day be HALF as good as you when it comes to sound design, halc. Most every sound you used would sound good enough on its own, that's when you know there's some dedication involved in making sure absolutely everything sounded good. Absolutely nothing cheesy or out of place at all. The songs have little knicknacks put in that tickle my ears : D especially in the car. The songs don't just sound good, they feel good. Higher Reasoning is my personal favorite so far. I know you've probably moved onto bigger and better things with the release of Hydrocity and all but atm I'm gonna go ahead put this album down as the best chiptune album out there. Keep up the good work.

Bring it on. That's just more of a reason to dedicate myself to something and actually do it. edit: oh yeah I'd like to clarify on something: at a certain point, this kind of stuff does fall under the whole science with rockets thing, but we're assuming angelcityoutlaw has experience with music and the tools necessary to acutally create the music.

I'm with Zircon and WillRock on this. This applies to a lot of things in life IMO. Unless it's science with rockets, or requires some sort of major degree/beforehand knowledge, it doesn't hurt to at least try something. I'm a human being; I can learn anything and just as fast as anybody else could.

Not that I'm jumping on a "hail OCR they're never wrong" bandwagon if one even exists, but I doubt they'd do something that douchey. That's not even douchey in fact. That's just mean. But OCR has proven themselves to be good people in the past, IMO.

If OCR gets enough money, they should treat everyone to some KFC. Especially those that might live in the south *wink wink*

You can actuallly blame me for that. I misread it - for about 20 minutes or so I had been thinking that Sakurai smash bros company had renamed itself to Project Sora in 2009 or whatever. But that's just another studio that Sakurai headed up besides Hal Laboratory? Or most likely it's the only studio he's ever headed up and Hal is just something on its own completely. Still. My mistake. I'm just now starting to learn the effects of massive amounts of caffeine on my brain this late at night - not so good. edit: OK, now I finally get it. Sora and Project Sora are completely different studios. Thanks gtahater for clearing that up.

At least we're still getting the new Smash Bros, and hopefully more. edit: oh shit, I read that wrong completely. Hal Labratory made Smash Bros. I knew something was weird about what I said.

I honestly liked the transition, it was pretty sweet, it just doesn't feel like the acoustic guitar should have taken up all the space like that so suddenly. Maybe have the chords it plays come in a bit earlier or something. Also, you could try maybe playing a filtered drum groove over that section. IDK if it'd work, that idea just sort of stuck in my head. If you don't do anything though, I won't hate you. This is a good remix overall, and the transition didn't bother me too much. Thank you so much for picking this source! Happens to be one of my favorite by Kenji Yamamoto, and the Remix itself is absolutely awesome. Very well produced, and fun to listen to.

I kind of like them. Most shows you've reviewed so far I've already watched, but I didn't really know much about Air until you reviewed that so I'm probably going to check it out at some point. Also: That's what YOU think.

You know, idolmaster really does have a much more colorful style than K-ON! anyways. I actually enjoyed Nichijou moe more than K-ON! moe for that reason. Which reminds me I still need to watch Idolmaster. I would have by now if I didn't find the show through a picture of a certain trap... edit: wait, that's not the show I was thinking of. forget what I said. Still need to watch it.

I giggle like a little japanese girl every time I watch that show. Next you'll be watching Yuru Yuri. Then Hidamari Sketch. Then you'll be watching Clannad again for all the wrong reasons. And then you'll have your own personal waifu. That's how it went for me at least. No big deal.

Not sure if it's on tablet or not, but I got extended battery life and easy task killer help battery + keep my androids free from pointless programs in the background. If that sounds helpful I'd find that or a tablet equivelant. I guess that would depend on how much you'd use it off the charger, though.

I'm not a big fan the kick. It's sounding a little bit to weak, imo. It also sounds panned which is weird. You should try centering the kick and the snare, if they're not, so they sound a bit more present. The synth also doesn't seem to be loud enough maybe? The chords might just be taking up too much room. I can't really hear much besides the chords, though. I'd fix that first. The parts where you're trying to arrange IMO don't flow that well with the song. The intro going into the source sounds fine. But at parts like :29 and 2:11 things could flow just a bit better. Also, I found myself kind of getting bored of the song.. I feel like a slower, more mellower bridge section would help this kind of song a lot. Maybe right after 2:06. Maybe others will agree with that. Fixing the mixing issues would be a great first step to making this sound good. The chords are up front and center while everything else is just pushed in the back.

Ok, I worked on this and basically lowered the bass enough. I was actually having the same problems in my ears, but people kept saying the drums should be stronger. But I think I was completely mistaking loudness for strength, so yeah. It sounds a lot better now. I'm probably going to have to render this one more time to fix some piano chords, but other than that, it sounds good. I'll get more opinions and stuff. The bass just plays like that. It sounds out of tune whenever it's played by itself, but ok once it's played with the song (I think it's because higher frequenices are trying to harmonize on the synth.. I'll find a way to fix that because it is weird). It's a bass I use a LOT so my ears might have gotten used to it by now. Probably the next to last update before I submit this to the judges.
