    I'm honestly not all that familiar with sonic music, at least other than remixes and some songs from 2 and 1. I've been looking through a whole lot of youtube videos and man, this series has some fantastic songs that I didn't know of. Definitely going to be choosing something out of Sonic 2, though. Still my favorite out of the series.

    Sounnds a lot like WillRock at times. I'm digging this, and definitely digging the beat. The piano mixed with the ethnic percussion at 2:24 or so worked so well. I love this song. This is going on my playlist immediately.

    Gotta say that I am digging the production on this - very classy stuff here. The arrangement is also top notch, a genre I never thought I'd see this source in. Great stuff here, guys. Ya'll should keep submitting. Please?

    I love it. It was a good break from the usual comedy SoL anime I watch. Not something I think I could watch all the way through again, though.

    That's weird.

    I can understand how you would still be using the name though. I mean the protodome is something that just resonates through your soul, you know? It's a beautiful, touching name. I kind of cried when I first saw it.

    ATM I'm just a student, but I really want to live off my music. I'm hoping to move far away from Georgia and the south in general and try to compose music professionally for a living for film scores or games. Even indie stuff. That's the dream at least. I'd love to work as some sort of computer tech until I can actually start making money off of it though. Maybe even some kind of good paying retail (anything but food please). It's not like I'm getting married or anything like that anytime soon, so I'm totally cool with anything that can support me - I'm not necessarily looking for anything too fancy right when I get out of school. Just as long as I'm not living in the ghetto or with my parents. But other than that, I'm trying to network as much as possible atm, get people to know me, and basically chasing opportunities as they come so I can get my resume started. Anything that will help me further down the road. I'm only 19 at the moment, so I feel like I have a long time to squeeze myself into the industry. But I'm definitely not just going to screw around either.

    Something I finished up recently, to be on my (hopefully) soon to be released original EP. I actually started this way back in December, but quit for whatever reason. Inspiration struck after feeling this would work very well on my upcoming EP, and I figured I'd finish it up. I might change it up a tiny tiny bit in the final release, but this is pretty much gonna be it.     I'm all for chiptune / dubstep. I really like this; don't know the source, but I really like it. I suck at techno music in general, so no real critic here, hope this gets on OCR soon.

    Hey guys, I'm back this time. With another unfinished remix. : D atm I'm not really going anywhere with it. I'm expecting one day to just sit down and finish it off completely, but haven't been able to for a while. Really wanted some opinions on it in the state it's in though.     Still after all this time one of my favorite electronic songs on this site. In fact, this was probably the first electronic song I ever really liked/loved. Really the type of music I love. Chill, ambient music I can just sit back and listen to for hours on end. Added bonus is that it's long too. Great stuff here. I highly recommend this to everyone. And I mean everyone.

For this I was basically trying my to really clutter the soundscape while still sounding someone clean. Hard to explain what I really mean, but it was sort of a new thing for me to try without being a complete change in production styles. I'm thinking I'm going to make this part of an EP down the road. Not sure yet. If it is it'll probably be a bit different on that. Enjoy.

    I didn't really grow up with anime all that much, so I can't understand the whole moe hate thing as much. However even when I watch any slice of life anime I have standards, probably not as high as most. As long as the characters are interesting or fun, and it's not overly sexual, I'm totally cool with the show. I find myself mostly watching SoL anime anymore now. The only action anime I really got into was Dragonball Z (of course it's that one), but I don't even like that now. SoL is just so fun and easy to watch for me - it's so relaxing to come home from a long day, hit the bed with some herbal tea while watching a couple of episodes of azumanga daioh or something. However I do like a good plot every now and then. I just don't find myself chasing after those shows as much (unless recommended). I guess I just never really had a chance to get into anime, though. But maybe one day I'll be as cool as you guys. edit: it's funny that my signature and avatar fit well with what i just said. typical moe fan.

    I recently started watching K-On. Just started the second season. It's such a fun show. If what you're saying is true... well I don't really care. I'll watch it as long as it falls under the category of "cute girls doing cute things", which I should be ashamed to admit even on the internet. Even if I were anonymous. Though it doesn't come anywhere close to KyoAni's Nichijou, but I'm probably the only one who thinks that show is the best. (considering the kind of mediocre reviews it got) Oh, and on the topic of anime soundtracks - Spice and Wolf has always been my favorite, if only for S1's OP which seriously tops as one of my favorite songs of all time. I can listen to the entire soundtrack for hours on end though.

    Ok, finally got another version in - I think this is close to being done (if not already done). Humanized things a bit - especially the cello by sliding the volume up / down on notes. Same with the saxphone. Also equalized the crystal sound a little bit to let some of the instruments have more room to breath, and fixed some of the whistle sounds. The song should be a lot smoother now. Filtered the piano out inside of the volume envelope. Changed up the bass so it's kind of doing it's own little thing for the fadeout, which I thought sounded cool. Also changed the automation on bringing the harp in to be a bit smoother like Trinity Dragon suggested (Hope that worked out). I think I mentioned everything. I really liked how this came out in the end. I wasn't really happy that I couldn't think of an ending, but I'm glad I kept working at it because I myself am really digging this song (At least more than I was) from just listening to it now. http://www.box.com/s/57xp66377r2k33tolrjh I'm gonna put this on mod review probably tonight.     Nope. I've never played it either. Funny thing though, a friend of mine let me borrow the ds version like just today, so yeah. Thanks for the choral comment, I love choral synths because of metroid. Also might hear that influence ith.n the lead synth. Thanks for all the comments guys, I was actually afraid people wouldn't like it, but I was fortunatley wrong. Typed this from phone and its literally impossible to fix typos

    So this was quite a pain. I didn't give up though, and I think I finally ended it off pretty well. Hopefully. I feel like I lost inspiration for the ending of the track - I kept putting in ideas and throwing stuff away. But yeah, I think the arrangement is done now. May do a few things to it next update, but probably just touches. Still haven't humanized the sax or cello, but that's on my checklist. I rewrote the bass a little bit for the first part with the sax, but it kept the same movement pretty much. Also equalized the whistle to be less irritating, and the cello is softened up. Also that crystally sounding part is not schala, so that cello section is pretty much entirely original. Except for the harp movement. Yup, think I mentioned everything.

    Hey there! I don't post here that much, but I've been browsing the OCR Christians thread for a while now.

    I've been in a school of ministry in Atlanta, GA for a while now, and while I'm probably not necessarily known in the thread that much I think it'd be cool to post more.

    There have been a lot of great testimonies happening here, and I've been wanting to share in the thread for a while now. Do you think it would be appropriate in the thread atm to kind of post who I am and what God has been doing and whatnot? I have no intention of getting into the Atheism debate, I just kind of want to share the awesomeness of God I guess.
