Their little romance.. seems like nintendo might be evolving in the storytelling department. The only thing I didn't like was that some of the animations are choppy or just non-existent. When Link runs, his sword should bob up and down or something.

Someone seasoned and superhuman needs to take on Bastion's mind-blowing OST. There's room for some pretty amazing re-interpretations.

I really like how subdued all of halc's work is. I can't find anything else like it. Which is why I like what he did here with the wubz. I see halc's work all about creating an evolving atmosphere, not really leading up to any sort of huge climax but just really making you feel like you're somewhere else. Just my two cents on the whole "subdued" thing. It's a really endearing attribute of his work to me.

sorry to hear you're so busy, diotrans. You've done a really great job so far. I'm interested in trying to run it, but it would be silly of me to commit to something like this right now. I'm so behind on work I've promised people... other obligations have to take priority for now. I do have ideas to bring back energy to the competition though. I'll share those with whomever steps up. I love video. I identify myself with it strongly, much more than music.. so if I ever am in a position to run this contest, I'd really love to. The time isn't right yet, but if it ever is I just want that information to be known.

Forced into piano lessons for years and though I was a lazy brat and learned next to nothing when it came to theory, I still developed a love for music. I was never interested in producing music until I found OCR and found out about FL Studio. I was riding high on the feeling that I had mastered video production software and thought producing music for my videos would be amazing. Well FL Studio turned out to be a lot harder for me. Visual storytelling came easy to me, but producing a good sound was a lot harder than producing a good image. It still is. I hate that I can look at any video tutorial and know exactly what's going on but any time I watch a music tutorial I feel completely lost. So I continue to feed off the challenge of it all.

halc, ecto... looks like the 9bit Inner Circle has been summoned. I like, but the wide dirty bass toward the end is startling. Might be I'm just used to you being so subtle. BE AGGRESSIVE MORE SUBTLY HALC I liek how it wobba wobba tho.

Fffffff yes! I love this game. I tried tackling this remix months ago and it seemed to be going well, but I just kind of abandoned it to my Soundcloud in the end. I like the direction of your arrangement but it does sound sparse throughout. A harmonic choir might fill that gap. Anyway, I hope you stick with this. Amazing game, amazing source.

Day 3: No human interaction between classes. Album on loop. The timing of this release was just right. It reminded me how far I have to go just as I was getting a little comfortable. I was also thinking "ooh, good filler until halc's Pilotwangz album" when I first saw this but after the download that kind of turned into "holy shit!" Ah I'm posting way too much on this. Let this serve as my final bump.

omg I download in ALAC too! We should date :] By the way, there's a problem with the tracks. They all sound indistinguishable from pure sex. EDIT: the bonus track Big Giant Sea for a Dream is really good.

People with Magic cards or old school gaming systems for multiplayer would be a plus Mario Party 2, hmmm? Sonic Shuffle, hmmm? I'd only rule out extreme party types. 1000/1000 gamer points on Call of Duty 4. I quit the game for three months because of the level where you have to defend yourself at the ferris wheel for like 10 minutes. I couldn't DO IT! On veteran, of course. An extreme example is the Moldavite Earring on FFXI Online. That took months of multi-hour gaming sessions to finally get a drop. Everyone else I knew got the drop a lot more easily. I even hired thugs to camp for it with me >_> My LS even gave up on helping me with it.
