This was such a fun game from my childhood and this track in particular is so strange and catchy. I would just love to hear it some sort of updated form.
I also love the original composer's comment about this track. He contracted some sort of stomach flu while making this one, hence the queasy synths. It's a dark, trippy electronic track that has a bright "relief" middle section. Just love it.

Love this OST.

This one is definitely a highlight for me. Funny lyrics but in the context of a pop song with a strong melodic structure. An encouraging example of taking your work seriously but not yourself.

This project is absolutely fantastic! There is a tragedy about it though. Album 4, the WIPs, has so many fabulous tunes, but AFAIK is only available via the download. Joe Jonker’s “Ramirez’s Theme WIP” is possibly my favorite track on the whole project; it’s like Lena Raine meets Trap Beats. Anyway, I know these are not the intended focus of the project, but they’re all so good! 
 

Well, I gave Guifrog "Biolizard" from Sonic Adventure 2 as a reference because, as he hinted, I felt it had that 'psychological confusion' aspect. That ended up combining with his penchant for upbeat vibes.
Being a massive fan of Guifrog's work and who he is as a person, just someone who has been through struggles and finds joy and reprieve in his creative work.. I was uplifted and amazed with what he came up with. Gui is one of those artists I hope to meet some day. There's just something really kind-hearted and honest about him.

THAT is so awesome. Wow. Warms my heart, haha. One of my all time favorite games, and really probably my favorite game ever that never got a sequel (okay, it got a remake, but still!). Hopefully the composers of the game will get their hands on a copy somehow.

Aaron Webber @RubyEclipse on Twitter, Social Media and PR guy for SEGA of America was delivered by us, over 70 copies of the physical Arcadia Legends album! They also sent over copies with personalized letters from us to SEGA of Japan where a copy got into the hands of REIKO KODAMA, the producer of Skies of Arcadia! She was VERY pleased! We did it guys! They appreciated all the hard work and effort we did to make this a reality!   It may not make a huge difference in getting a Skies of Arcadia 2, but I'm willing to take whatever we can get! Okay, all American/USA based contributors have had their copies sent out to them yesterday. Already sent out your tracking numbers as well to your emails/DMs. I am currently filling out customs forms for the international shipments (and waiting for my next paycheck to hit this Friday) before I gather together the copies to send out to my foreign contributors!
Was funny at the Post Office, I literally cleaned them out of all boxes/packages that'd fit two copies of the album. They were like, did you need that many? ME: Yes, yes I do and I'll be needing just as many when I come back to do this again!

Guess what came in?

This song actually brings a lot of emotions out.  Skies of Arcadia has hands down been my number 1 favorite game for many years, even with all of the other amazing games I've ever played.  The story always kept me on my toes and kept me invested, the gameplay was fantastic for its time...and despite the graphics being dated, I still really enjoy looking at it to this day.  It's a game that for me had everything I wanted in a perfect game, again even though there are many great games still being made today.  It's always held a very special place in my heart that can never be replaced, and this song really captures the game very well.
I feel like I'm living through the game again when I hear this, experiencing it in a new way...imagining if it was made today.  It both makes me smile and tear up a little with the memories it brings, the moments it makes me look back to, and just...gah.  I'm just really in love with this song.
This was definitely a song handled with much care, as there's nothing out of place.  Everything fits perfectly, transitions perfectly, and this song just really embodies the body and spirit of what made Skies of Arcadia special.  Thank you for this beautiful gem...this is by far my favorite song I've heard in many years, and it's one that will hold an equally special place in my heart right alongside the game that inspired it.

This song is so big and you transition between all the different sources so amazingly. This would be awesome performed live with a real orchestra

As someone who listened to the "Love Hurts" Sonic 1 remix two hundred times over the last 15 years, this almost sounds like a sequel to that song. Or a companion piece, at least. I'd agree that it's better than the source, for sure. And I actually quite like that I need to turn it up a little!

@TSori, I will give you a nice, warm fuzzy. Out of all the tracks on the album, my two boys absolutely love and adore your 'Better Days' track. So much so that when it comes on, they instantly recognize it and forbid us to change the song or even stop the car and get out if we go anywhere until the song finishes. lol

Military Facility Dungeon is one of those universally-popular tracks from the original OST, along with Ixa'Taka, but it's also one of the more quagmire-ish dungeons, so you hear this on loop for.. um, a while. This digests so smoothly, and it's really emotive and.. well, beautiful.
The viola front and center is courageous and pays off. It owns the stage and dances with the lead synth. I just love the expressiveness, and its tinge of melancholy.
And that's why I recommend The Milk-Fudge Donut.
