I think this initiative might be much better served as an unofficial community effort, at least initially. The project leader(s) would take it upon himself to contact as many active ReMixers as possible for lossless files, and secure hosting for them. A torrent actually may not be feasible in this particular case since the demand is so low and would most likely result in few to no seeds. Although if one were eventually made, I can't imagine it would be a matter of more than a few minutes or so to add it to the OCR tracker.

Oh yeah, the 3D Chain of Memories remake on PS2 looked pretty sweet. Also check out Beatmania IIDX 13 Distorted and the Taiko no Tatsujin games. There's also a GBA Fire Emblem game that didn't come out in the US.

This is...not my thing. It sounds like the background was made completely independently of the melody, and in a different key. The repetition just aggravates this. But more than anything, I find it infinitely amusing that the opening post basically says "this kinda sucks."

Well...I'll agree with that. I myself am pretty much in the same boat as The Coop. Even if I didn't know anybody who has a Wii, I still have 4 previous generations' worth of games to go through.

Who says you don't have that right? Scalpers are using the exact same right, you know. You just have to get up a little early. And again, think about it this way...without scalpers, you would STILL have to get up early anyway! At least now, people have the option to pay an extra $100 or so to save themselves the trouble. It's a simple tradeoff: if you don't want to pay with money, you have to pay with time. The people who camp get their Wiis, and the people who pay an extra $100 get their Wiis. Either way, the people who want it the most get their console...the people unwilling to do either of those things wouldn't get one in any situation, scalpers or no.

Third guess is the charm. I don't buy that scalpers make it harder to get a Wii. More expensive? Sure. But if they weren't around, EVERYONE would have to stand in ridiculous lines to get their Wii.

It's too bad appreciation isn't legal tender. I think the fact that the "lemmings" have gone through the trouble of getting Wiis and you haven't shows pretty clearly who actually "appreciates" it more.

They say "this contest is open to any musical genre," I don't see how anything other than hardcore BOOMHISS has much of a chance (I dunno, maybe epic movie trailer electro-orchestral...). I mean, unless Europeans have a country rock fetish they're hiding from us.

This goes beyond "GOTTA HAVZ IT NOW"...it's been sold out since its launch more than a year ago.
