  1. No, it warrants saying that you couldn't stand a lot of the songs. If you had done that in the first place instead of flamebaiting, we wouldn't be having this discussion. But since you asked, here's the songs I play through on a regular basis: "More Than a Feeling" - Boston "Take Me Out" - Franz Ferdinand "Sharp Dressed Man" - ZZ Top "Killer Queen" - Queen "Symphony of Destruction" - Megadeth "Ziggy Stardust" - David Bowie "Fat Lip" - Sum 41 "Cochise" - Audioslave "Spanish Castle Magic" - Jimi Hendrix "Higher Ground" - Red Hot Chili Peppers "No One Knows" - Queens of the Stone Age "Crossroads" - Cream "Godzilla" - Blue Öyster Cult "Texas Flood" - Stevie Ray Vaughan "Frankenstein" - The Edgar Winter Group "Cowboys from Hell" - Pantera "Bark at the Moon" - Ozzy Osbourne "Cheat on the Church" - Graveyard BBQ "Even Rats" - The Slip "Get Ready 2 Rokk" - Freezepop "Cavemen Rejoice" - The Bags "All of This" - Shaimus "The Breaking Wheel" - Artillery Hardly a handful, and that's just from the first game. I actually like most of the other songs, but these are my favorites. And some of them I left off because I actually played them way too much (i.e. all of tier 1). My GH2 list is even longer (which actually surprises even me). Probably because the good/bad ratio admittedly seems a little bit lower. * "Shout at the Devil" - Mötley Crüe * "Mother" - Danzig * "Woman" - Wolfmother * "Tonight I'm Gonna Rock You Tonight" - Spınal Tap * "Strutter" - KISS * "Heart-Shaped Box" - Nirvana * "Message in a Bottle" - The Police * "You Really Got Me" - Van Halen * "Carry On Wayward Son" - Kansas * "War Pigs" - Black Sabbath * "Cherry Pie" - Warrant * "Sweet Child O'Mine" - Guns N' Roses * "Killing in the Name" - Rage Against the Machine * "John the Fisherman" - Primus * "Freya" - The Sword * "Last Child" - Aerosmith * "Crazy on You" - Heart * "Rock This Town" - Stray Cats * "Jessica" - The Allman Brothers Band * "Psychobilly Freakout" - The Reverend Horton Heat * "YYZ" - Rush * "Beast and the Harlot" - Avenged Sevenfold * "Misirlou" - Dick Dale * "Hangar 18" - Megadeth * "Gemini" - Brian Kahanek * "Less Talk More Rokk" - Freezepop * "Jordan" - Buckethead (although I never actually beat it ;_ * "Six" - All That Remains * "Soy Bomb" - Honest Bob and the Factory-to-Dealer Incentives * "Thunderhorse" - Dethklok * "Trogdor" - Strong Bad I'd play Freebird more often, but it's too dang long.
  2. I believe you started it, sir. I don't see how you could've expected any form of constructive discussion to come from that post.
  3. You can't really judge rap with a computer because there's no set pitch for the lyrics.
  4. Well, it's not that farfetched. And it's about time they let you sing to the tunes you're playing, because let's admit it, we all do it anyway.
  5. I'm gonna go against the grain and say that the pay site was much more believable than EAReMix, and thus fooled a lot more people, and thus was a better April Fools joke.
  6. I especially love how someone gave "Frozen Reflection" a 9/10, but a 1/10 to "Live on the Icecap."
  7. That's true, like 2 mods have already posted in this thread. Wow, only 5 mixes of Vampire Killer, and only 4 of Bloody Tears? I guess they weren't as saturated as I thought.
  8. Um...granted, it hasn't reached "Terra" or "Schala" status yet, but six mixes is still pretty disproportionate compared to most other source tunes. Still, I do have to admit that I'm not particularly fond of any of the ones on the site currently...maybe it's about time somebody actually did it right. Although, with such a cliche (and frankly mediocre) source, that might not even be possible now. Then again, if Unipulator could do it with "Corridors of Time" and Shna could do it with "Terra"...well, who knows.
  9. The accent is distracting, but it's a pretty cool concept.
  10. Thanks. Hopefully I'll get good enough to play "Four Fantasies" someday so it can get on OCR where it belongs.
  11. That's a terrible reason to get the PS2 version. I would get the X-Box versions of both Guilty Gear and SFAC if only for the fact that they're XBL-compatible, and playing against real people is by far the best way to improve.
  12. http://www.ocremix.org/forums/showpost.php?p=213015&postcount=118 Bahamut's comments gave me the impression that all the staff members involved would be involved in the apology, but I felt djp's post was sufficient enough for the closure I wanted. zircon's right though...technically UnMod was deleted in 2007, so we'll have to wait for the 2008 address for it to be on topic.

  14. Yeah, I've been meaning to upload that for a while. Now's as good a time as any, I guess.
  15. Haha. But yeah, that's the downside to laptops, they're not very upgradeable. You can get more RAM or a bigger hard drive, but that's pretty much it.
  16. I'll tell you if there's another one though. Thanks for the kind words, Degree.
  17. You should totally join the panel again.
  18. There's a big ol' thread over here too. Too much drama for one forum.
