That movie wasn't nearly as good as the reviews made it out to be. After two and a half hours, you just wanted it to be over...friggin' thing had more endings than Return of the King. 300 on the other hand was awesome.

I suggest checking out the RedXIII demo track.

Nice, thanks for all the replies. Okay, so the reason I made this thread is that all three are original pieces I made for a game I'm working on for my CS senior project. But even though I didn't have any other tracks in mind while composing them, each one sounds so familiar to me that I have a hard time thinking that I didn't totally rip off at least one other video game. That said, I can definitely hear the Space Harrier and FFIV similarities. Incidentally I've never played Space Harrier or heard the soundtrack...I think (or hope) the two tracks have enough differences though. Thanks again everyone for the help. Always good to have an extra set of ears. Mods can move this to WIP: Other if they want.

I dunno, I'm fine with violent games and all, but I don't think I buy the "outlet" justification. For example, I don't think it'd work if you tried to make a child-molesting video game to provide an outlet for pedophiles.

I got this too...apparently it wanted "d3dx9_29.dll." Fixed it by running the "dxsetup.exe" in the "DirectX" directory included in the demo. Also, BOOMER OMG.

Okay, so I queued up the torrent like 30 minutes ago, and when I checked just now it was done. Scary. I'll wait until tomorrow to play it though...gotta go to bed.
