Well I'd appreciate if you could either stop laughing, or not share the fact that you're laughing. It takes a lot of confidence to make a recording like this and any ridicule will undoubtedly make people feel self-conscious and possibly prevent others from contributing their performances. I say you guys should put your money where your mouth is and record your own tracks. Not so I can laugh at them. But for the song.

I haven't read the original post because I wanted to say something before the flood of people coming in: HELL YES! Thank you for bringing this back and I seriously cannot wait until it is released. I am happy, thank you very much.

Dearest Monobrow, I have listened to your posted work. I find it a bit on the quiet side. Some compression and a light bit of boosting may help to bring up the volume (and more importantly, thickness) of your composition. The bass is far too vacant, and leaves the mix sounding fairly open. However, the bass would probably be a bit more prominent if the song were more compressed as I mentioned earlier. So to summarize my thoughts, I find it to be a bit too soft. Something that I believe some compression and a boost could remedy. Thank you.

320kbps MP3 is probably fine, I don't expect everyone to send a big ol' WAV file. It'll probably be 2 or 3mb for a minute of tortured yelling. I almost have the actual song done, I was just about to bring it down here and upload it for Jade to hear. I'm new to Cubase so I have yet to figure out how to do a highpass filter and stuff like that, so it's a bit thick. I'm looking forward to all the screams from people! I can't wait to hear what a sports announcer sounds like when he's being tortured. Not enough women though. Hi. New song is 4:48 and is written, I'm recording some of the last guitar rhythms, then I'll do solo parts, bass, key elements... There's 4 people who might be signed on for screams, including me, luke, Jade, and maybe blind? So I mean, that's a decent amount but I'd like to get a handful more people involved if possible. I'm going to try to ask a couple people but seriously, if you see this, please consider recording about a minute of anguished yells like if you're being killed. Thanks

Woah hey Brad, I didn't know you were running a project of your own! Is there anything left for people to do? That artwork on the first post was really awesome, I love it... But 47 pages? tl;dr hehe -- Are there any songs left for anyone to claim?

Usa still has his songs, but I'm not sure how he would feel about people just "posting" them here. He really wanted that album to be released, and I think part of why he is not here as a regular user is because of events stemming from stuff that happened with this and other music in the past. Stuff that I didn't witness but whatever. You could ask him about the songs of course, he is very easy to contact.

Well I was talking based on something Arek told me over IRC a few weeks ago, but he could have changed his mind since then. That would be sad though. I suggested that it would be a good move to just gather everything that there is for this project, organize it, and release the album. He sounded like he was interested in doing that. Oh well. I really wanted to see this released and listen to it, too.
