What fascinates me most about this is seeing a disagreement like this, in this day and age, between site staff and a person who's been around for as long as A-Ron has. Clearly, this issue is really big to him, and I still have no idea what it's about. Can someone point me to examples of music that A-Ron likes so I can compare it to this mix and understand what his problem is? I can't even find profanity in these lyrics. Where are they?

Drums are way too weak. Boost, and compress that kick. Guitar performance is alright, but you should really add something more to the arrangement, especially in the bass region, because the drums you have now along with that lone guitar and the pad isn't enough to keep a steady rhythm going.

Most of the instruments here sound really dull and MIDI-esque. Production is fine, I think.

I think some heavy, single feedback delay on that saw lead would improve this a lot. Bass is on-beat (1 and 3 rather than 2 and 4, I would have preferred the latter) and really boring. Percussion is pretty cool. The latter half with the organ solo and the distorted lead is terrible in comparison to the first half. The ending is also terrible.

I personally think the delay on the bass is a little excessive, and on that low note, it feels slightly off-key. Something dry to keep it company would have been nice. Seems to clip a little on my end, too, but it might be youtube's fault. Loving the leads. Would kill for some slap.

"Playthrough"... witty. Interesting stuff. There are some new harmonies here that totally work but that I wouldn't have thought of myself. Would be nice if someone else took what you added here to make a full-blown ReMix, because I think there's nearly enough new material/interpretation here to support one.

I actually tried to get this to happen when I was in percussion ensemble myself, but I never did. Performance isn't stellar, but this is still really cool. Thanks for realizing an old dream. I don't really see why this wouldn't count as an OCReMix. Submit it and see what the judges have to say, at the very least. They've been pretty easy on live performances before (since it's hard to make any improvements once the recording has already been done). Recording quality is excellent, too. I have to say though, you guys deserve louder applauses... how many were in the audience, 3?

This is actually pretty sweet. I have no complaints on anything on what I assume to be conscious decisions on your part (levels).

I wish there was some percussion, a shaker at least, but what's here is awesome. The synths are noticably fake and there's this one note in the melody where the guitar is badly out of tune, but it doesn't matter much. I find this part of the lyrics especially epic: Thanks for ReMixing Quickman's theme!

Uploading my wav now. Had to render a new one from the project file since I couldn't find any old wavs. The project file was last modified on Thursday, July 13, 2006. So I finished my song for this project over 4 years ago. Pretty amazing, huh?

I've now had the upgrade lying in my room for 24 hours and still haven't had the chance to test it. Fail! Tonight though. <3

It's mostly a feature that helps you navigate your own song by letting you divide it into sections. Nothing major, but I bet it'll be helpful to most people.
