A had a similar problem some time back. A few folders on my drive (particularly ones that had tons of images or videos in them) would lag the shit out of my computer when I opened them. After a few weeks of that, the hard drive went completely kaput, so it's either some really nasty virus that's not easily detected, or your drive is about to die. When you formatted, did you do the full format, or did you do a quickie? Did you use NTFS as the file system (I'm assuming you're using XP)?

ThaSauce is not for sale! But we'd be willing to accomodate, or something. Happy birthday Jill.

vrit (r badmen) also made a pretty slick katamari NES arrangement.

I believe the gamecube and wii have s-video adapters, the N64 however, seems kind of unlikely.

It's been my experience that VIVO cards are extremely laggy. Playing games on my video card is pretty much impossible, as there's a 2 second delay.

I once had a dream. I dreamed I would one day become an official OverClocked ReMixer! ...and then it actually happened, and I came to a sudden realization that perhaps I should rethink my priorities.

Yes. Uhh lots of us, actually. All my songs here on OCR were done in FL, with the exception of the Ultima Online song, which was done in Reason. The main difference between FL, and the other major DAWs (such as Sonar and Cubase) is that those programs are more suited to recording and production, while FL is aimed towards general sequencing (though you can sequence in Sonar and Cubase, and you can record in FL, they just aren't as good at it as their counterparts). Also, different emphasis may be placed on different parts of the production process. And of course, differences in the GUI. Reason, however, is another beast entirely. It almost functions more as a fancy tracker with piano rolls. It's extremely limited in what it can and can't do. Reason is entirely lacking VST/DX support, is not capable of recording, and has a very limited sample set. Another thing to note is that in the past 5 years, Reason has hardly changed at all, while FL and Cubase have vastly improved. Short answer: no. This goes for all audio editing software. "Editing out" is something that is not easily accomplished, unless you happen to have access to the original, individual tracks. Which you probably don't unless you happen to be a producer, in which case you wouldn't be here asking questions. See #4. You can cut out a section of something (as in a phrase or loop, NOT individual instruments or vocals) and use it, but that's generally frowned upon as far as remixing goes. If you absolutely can't afford it, get the most basic version that comes with the Fruity Soundfont Player (can't recall which version that is at the moment). Otherwise I'd recommend the XXL version. There are thousands of free VST plug-ins available on the web that can do pretty much anything else you need. An excellent place to start is KVR Audio. You can search for free VST instruments and effects there, and even sort them by user ratings etc.

You say that, but I dunno sometimes. I was suspended for 3 hours for shooting people from a roof in gadgetzan. Ohnoes, pvp on a pvp realm! But if a mage uses slow fall to kill me while I'm flying, forcing me to spirit res, oh that's fine! Or if players queue for the arena in gadgetzan and then start killing lowbies as soon as the enter arena button pops up, and enter the arena before the guards kill them, that's just dandy too! I don't understand GMs. >:[ Also, I need a new guild on Illidan, mine doesn't do shit. They talk a lot, "oh we'll do raids as soon as we're 70!" but almost everyone is 70 now, and we haven't even run steamvaults or shadow labs let alone Karazhan. Oh, and I hate shadow labs. I'm trying to get my Karazhan key there, but three times in a row the instance servers crashed before our slow ass PUG could finish the instance. Once when we were on Murmur too.

recommend, yes. but the minimum requirements are much lower. i ran WoW for about 6 months on a GeForce 4 Ti4200. it worked just fine.

Did you save any of the screenshots from our little raid the other day?

OCR01555 - Final Fantasy VI "Lamentations"
suzumebachi replied to djpretzel's topic in ReMix Reviews & Comments
The original song (named "Epitaph") is actually the theme music of Daryl's tomb, hence the title. -
Hmm... now that you mention it, mine do the exact same thing. What kind of headphones are you using? Mine are AKG K240S, which are 55 ohms.

Is This A Good MIDI Controller?
suzumebachi replied to Legion Kreinak's topic in Music Composition & Production
I have a 61 key midi controller, and in all honesty, I wish it were larger. -
What scale would G A Bb C D E F be?

I've been ganking people while I wait for the rest of the realm to catch up... dude... ganking in Azeroth at level 70 is oh so very wrong. I went to Hillsbrad, thinking I'd maybe gank a few lowbies while I wait to get a CoT group (for OLD Hillsbrad, no less, kek). So during my gankfest, I decided to go down to Southshore to see if there's any lowbies hanging around the outskirts of town... then I noticed something. Something evil. Something awesome. The guards in Southshore are level 45 now. That's right. Level 45. HUGE mistake on Blizzard's part. I can now one shot them. Needless to say, no Allies got any questing done for the next hour or so, while I systematically (and repeatedly) killed every NPC in the town of Southshore. Flight Master, Quest Givers, Vendors, you name it, they all died. A couple more 70s came along and joined me a bit later, and we took out the elite guy in the town hall. Horde officially owned Southshore. And God said it was good.

Ahh man use code tags please.

My eyes! Large blue text is large. And blue. Also, the newbie thread is [that way].

Man people are taking too damn long to level to 70. I wanna do some damn instances, but there's not enough 70s to go around.

Acoustic Real Drum Sounds- In Need Of
suzumebachi replied to nousentre's topic in Music Composition & Production
I have a decent variety of free acoustic drum kit samples, including the maestro set. If you want, I can host them somewheres for you. -
I'm afraid you lose. Nice try, better luck next time. 1/10.

Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening: Threshold of a Dream - History
suzumebachi replied to Aetherius's topic in Projects
I'm trying to track down some older works of mine. Does anyone happen to have my song from the first incarnation of this project? -
I should have been directing this movie. No, seriously. It would have been amazing.

One's for 32 bit processors and one's for 64 bit I imagine?
