In parallel with making VGM remixes, I continue to gain experience in making vocal covers. This time I present to your attention a cover of the Clawfinger song "Nothing Going On"! I hope you will like it!

Thanks! Like I said, it's a cover song. Original song by Motörhead, arrangement and vocals - by me. I'm sorry if I posted this in the wrong subforum...

Today, May 5, a wonderful and talented person was born many years ago - ME! 🥳 🎉And to celebrate this event, I decided to do something that I have never tried in my life - I decided to make a COVER SONG where I participate both as a MUSICIAN and as a VOCALIST! And the Motörhead song "Ace of Spades" was chosen for obvious reasons Hope you enjoy it! And HAPPY BIRTHDAY to ME! 🥳🎉🎂 Yeeey! Now I can write in my profile that I am a vocalist! 🤘🏻🤪

1. Remove all low/low-mid frequencies on channel after reverb 2. Use sidechain -
Have you tried to removing the snare drum and replace it with a kick drum? This track a bit reminds me Juno Reactor's "Conga Fury". Listen to this track, there is no snare drum at all. Also try to listen other tracks of this band, maybe you will find something useful.

It's a really good remix, very soft and nice bassline that mixed well with the bass drum, great pads, and the samples from the game are generally perfect. The mix ruins a HORRIBLE (yes, HORRIBLE - I can't sweeten a pill like the OCR guys) snare drum! What we have here: a nice dance rhythm with a stright 4 kicks at the very beginning, but the incoming snare drum destroys this rhythm, as it lacks attack and any low frequencies. It sounds like you playing hihat instead of snare drum. My advice is to replace this snare or play it along with the kick so you don't break the rhythm. Like this: ----S-------S K---K---K---K Really want to listen finished result. Good luck!

Another VGM Frenchcore remix of mine! 🤘 This time it's "Zone A" theme from "Chip and Dale" on NES. Obviously this track isn't for all ears, but what the hell? I like it! 😜 Say CHEEEEEEESE! 😁

My very old remix of the main theme of the NES game "Alien 3". Even though it was released in 2015, I am still proud of this work! 🤘

Thanks for such a detailed feedback! I hope I understood everything correctly (sorry for my English). Concerning the held of low frequencies - it is quite possible, since mastering and mixing are not my strong point... When mixing, I try to focus on the clarity, rather than the volume of the mix. What's more, the mixing this time was pretty damn difficult for me because of the flanger guitar part, which is full of noises literally everywhere. But - I'm learning and maybe someday I can mix better About wanted more - ha! I wanted more too! I wanted to add a part with a distorted guitar power chords and a solo and I even tried, but... As I said, adding anything else to this mix without damaging the main melody was an impossible task for me... So I decided to stop on what is. And about the original track - here it is: -
In November 2021, the fifth game in the "Shin Megami Tensei" series was released on the Nintendo Switch. I am a big fan of this series, so I could not pass by this wonderful game and its great soundtrack! A DnB remix of Shinagawa theme, where I tried to recreate the original instruments and atmosphere - and to be honest, it wasn't easy. I hope you appreciate it. And if you haven't played this game yet, I highly recommend it. I've beaten this game three times already

At 0:40 I expected a huge drop, but... heard the same thing This would be a great intro for DNB, Dubstep or a rock cover. Great idea, but imo something is missing in this track.

What a kick used this track music pls
Black Ace replied to Dante's topic in Music Composition & Production
All drum samples in this video are 909 including claps and snares. I'm sure they are taken from some TRAP sample pack. For making this kick drum you can even use standard VSTs from FL Studio (Fruit Kick) or any other free VST. Just play with "decay" and "amp decay" knobs. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vUutSzqXv8A -
Hi guys! Are there any "Music 2000" fans here? Of course, lol Like many other musicians, I started my career with Playstation and "Music 2000" software. Years later, when I completely and irrevocably switched to FL Studio, I had an idea - why not extract samples from "Music 2000" and use them in my favorite DAW? And I did it! After that I had an even crazier idea - why not recreate the OST from "Music 2000" in FL Studio? It was not easy, but thanks to it I was able to fully appreciate the talent of the creators of this music software for PS1 and ESPECIALLY how they overcame the technical limitations! Want more details? Watch my video! (Watch till the END!) Thanks and have a nice day!

How Do You Do, Fellow Kids? Here's my new track - breakbeat\bigbeat remix of "Shin Megami Tensei" OST. A classic "Kichijoji" Theme (and partly "Dream" Theme) from the very first part of "Shin Megami Tensei" game on Super Famicom. However, this theme has appeared in subsequent games in the series in one form or another - for example, "Shin Megami Tensei III Nocturne", where it was called "Puzzle Boy". I hope you like it! Thanks and have a nice day!
