  1. Bringing back the Cello.....???. I got a few different ideas! Thanks for the help. The choir I think a few things happen. That library naturally has a longer attack and I was trying to utilize that to make it sound less robotic. I don't think the attack is at its maximum low so I might be able to line em up. It definitely is noticeable during any moving line. It's worth checking out.
  2. Certainly quite conservative (mostly on purpose) and I'm unsure how to take it to the next level. I think it's close in concept to submission? Maybe the beginning is too conservative. The piano could use some better humanization but that's no problem. I just don't know...what to do to give it more life and less of a cover type of feel while maintaining my conservative vision. Every time I revisit it I sit there stumped lol. So gonna take it to the streets of OCR lol.
  3. This was my thought. I just thought 6/8 then 5/8 alternating but it is hard to tell. Lots of stuff going on that feel really syncopated (to me). Was hard to find the pulse.
  4. Gorgeous arrangement. Full of both conservative (but well made) approaches and some chances that all work for me. But overall just a great take. Congratulations and thank you for sharing this space in your mind. Also thank you to all the performers!
  5. Beautiful interpretation. Strawberry is quite apt!
  6. ?? I do I do. But I'm wondering if the muse will come?
  7. Inspiration=zero ?????
  8. pheeewwww~. I'll at least get started today.
  9. Was a recent MnP compo that I got really into and I'm thinking I'm invested enough where I might wanna submit this after I give it some more polish. I've never worked with this kinda track before and I'm definitely lost in terms of what may need eq there or compression here ?. Some balance issues I'm aware of here and there though. A few spots specifically with the vox are a bit out of wack... On the creative side the big build up with the riser doesn't end as powerfully as I want. I tried a few effects to cap it off but nothing makes me go "Ooh!" One idea I have though is to use some stock supercar engine rev and acceleration samples so that it gives that launching from the start line type feeling.
  10. I think I'll try my hand at this. Though I can't really say for sure if I'll be that original...
  11. I'm not familiar with the source tune so I mostly view it as a track in and of itself and I am really into it. Really good use of movement spacially and you gotta love that oboe. I am especially a fan of the journey it takes you on while still keeping you centered around a theme. Wonderful work and I'm glad I got to hear it!
  12. Agreed! Sometimes you just need to get your fox in the fray
  13. Export them as midis. Most composition software should be able to do that with varying degrees of success.
  14. Oh nawwww this goes EXTRA hard. Awesome job y'all! I initially didn't recognize the source in the track but kinda didn't care haha. Then I went and listened to the source and still didn't recognize the song ?. I think it was from an FMV during Lunatic Pandora I guess....anyway, neither here nor there! You guys killed it.
  15. Time to grind ?
  16. Well if anything ever happens I'm certainly gonna keep my eyes and ears out!
  17. Almost done. This was definitely fun to figure out.
  18. Ah yes I know exactly which song to choose ?
  19. Thanks for the info, I'll see what sparks my interest!
  20. If I was to choose a track to work on when would you need a WIP submitted by?
